It's either GB or NYG

I'm all-in on NYG taking GB down. They're just a better team.

Yep....in my mind the Giants are about 5 pts. better. BUT....Rodgers and that sloppy Lambeau track even it out. Gonna be SO close. Great game to watch. I'd be shocked if it was a blowout.

Well a bunch of you might get your wish and play the Giants again.

I don't like either of these teams Greenbay playing well and the Giants seem to matchup well against Dallas.

I'm worried they get bounced against after having HFA

I prefer Green Bay. There defense is very ordinary, I think Dallas at full strength in the secondary will handle there wr's and they'll get enough pressure to minimize the offense to under 24 points. If they happens Dallas will win by at least seven.

Rogers is on fired winning the last 6 in a row. But the Gents secondary looks pretty darn good right now. Going to be a good game.

Despite Rodgers, I agree. I think our D can slow him down enough and our O will shred them again. Detroit moved the ball quite well against them tonight. But I have real concerns they'll get by the Gnats...coin flip game.

At the end of the day, if we can't power past the Giants or the Packers in a home playoff game, then we don't deserve to advance anyway. You don't get to a Superbowl without playing good teams, no matter what. Sure, some paths are easier than others, but they're all going to be tough games. All it takes is one or two mistakes in any playoff game and you're done. Better to get it all down and worry about your own execution than to worry about going against a particular QB or defense.

No way Detroit gets out of SEA alive IMO. I don't care if this not your mother's Seahawks team. It's still her CenturyLink. And still the Lions running game.

Good news is that one of our two toughest challengers is out before we see them. Downside is that we get the other one out of the gate.

I'm not sleeping on ATL or SEA, but our season ends in the divisional round or Houston, IMO.

Seattle has played very poorly lately and are trending in the wrong direction. Then again so are the Lions, neither team is a lock. Regarding the Packers, Giants, and Falcons no one said its an easy road to the Super Bowl. I would love to see the Giants again, but whoever we get this team will be ready!

And if the cowboys get to the Super Bowl and the Patriots are the opponent, I'm sure they will take it easy on Dallas and not try to hard to win. Please this is the playoffs, in order to win it all, you have to beat whoever is in front of you. I'm sure the cowboys are not saying to themselves " We sure don't want to play the Giants" to contrary, I bet they would look forward to playing NY, or whomever shows up to play them. In order to win it all, this team is going to have to beat some good teams, and if they can't then they were not good enough. We as fans can hope for a more favorable match-up, but whoever shows up to play Dallas will bring their A game. Have we not noticed that every team gets up to play Dallas, they never get a teams worst effort.(particularly a playoff team)

I get the preference given to winning your division, and rules are rules, but it's kind of unfair that NY has to go on the road to play a GB team with a worse record, while a SEA team with an even worse record also gets a home game. The NBA fixed this inequity a few years ago, and IMO the NFL should too -- division winner guaranteed playoff spot, but not home-court/home field advantage, seed all playoff teams by record. Would also be fairer to top seeds like the Cowboys, who in a straight record based bracket would not play NYG (the true three seed) until the NFCCG under any circumstances.

OAK at HOU, same thing. God I wish we played in the AFC South. Home playoff game every year.

Yeah, i've thought about that. I'd keep the same amount of teams in the division, but have 1 less divisional game and make that game against a geographically closer opponent. Start building up mini rivalries. A Cowboys/Texans game would be huge, Eagles/Steelers, Dolphins/Bucs, Titans/Falcs, something like that. You'd have to figure something out for West Coast teams but whatever.

The seeding as is, pretty illogical. Won the Division? Good job, you get your ticket punched, but having homefield over a team that won more games, and sometimes as many as 2-3, doesn't make any sense.

I don't really care who we draw, but I can easily see DET beating SEA even up in SEA. I don't think they'd be favored to, but SEA is not a great team right now.
I agree the Seahawks do not look so dominant as the 49ers very nearly came back on them Sunday. Let that sink in, the 49ers who were very close to having the first pick in the draft. Nothing will surprise me in the one and done format of the NFL playoffs.
We earned a bye week by winning our division and having the best record in the NFC, that just does not happen without hard work and talented players. That first round of wildcard games will come at a price for the participants and the winners reward will be to play in Dallas or Atlanta. Cowboys should fear no one, the only team that can beat us is ourselves. Inopportune penalties and turnovers(Mark Sanchez displayed this technique against the Eagles) are our achilles heel.

All good points but to counter that thinking. Dak has been on fire and Zeke has been on fire pretty much the whole season. Green Bay has no CBs and we have a talented receiving core. Rogers is playing great but he can't play defense. I want Green Bay, we match up better against them right now. But I also think we're the best team in the NFC and the other teams are more scared of us then we think.

Have faith bro, we'll win.
