Without Monte Kiffin.

Granted, his son's offense is running them into the ground, but their defense with largely the same players as last year, looks outstanding thus far.

I was very, very critical of bringing Kiffin to Dallas. My best hope is just that he is a coach more suited for the NFL than the college game, but with the NFL quickly adopting some of college's spread em out, zone-read tendencies, I have to admit it's a little concerning.

Did you see what Chip Kelly did to Washington last night? He has been doing that to Monte for years. Only difference is now he gets to do it twice...Oh and USC best defense player last week was the QB from Wazzu.

No, it isn't that hard to ignore how USC looks. Also, it isn't difficult to imagine that some young players that are returning have become better with another year of experience.

It's also hard to ignore 5 turnovers forced against the Giants.

Also hard to ignore that our D-Line coach is Rod Marinelli, who was the D-Coordinator in Chicago last year and wanted to work with Kiffin again.

so double, want some cheese with your whine?

Just in case you did not get the memo, the NFL is different then College Football.

Who is whining? Just pointing out a pretty substantial improvement in USC's defense now that they've hired a new coach. Perhaps you need to brush up on your definition of the word "whine".

maybe you need to drink some wine and eat some cheese and go back to being a skin fan like you were

Hard to ignore a +5 turnover differential in Week 1 in the NFL.

Congrats to the new USC coach performing well against Washington State, though.

They didn't play Wazzu last year, so it's hard ot make a comparison. They did play Hawaii in 2012 and held them to 10 points. Hawaii scored 13 points against them this year. That's not a "substantial improvement" ... quite the opposite, really.

Helps to have the best 80 players Nike can buy. Doug Marrone didn't have nearly as much success running a similar offense.
