You know the ones...came in here and told us how they were the hottest team in the NFL. How beating Dallas was the stepping stone toward a clean sweep on the road to the Super Bowl. How Joe Gibbs over came his own stupidity in early season and has regained his 'genius' stature.

They promised me Dallas would get a rematch next week...that they were going to beat those Seahawks.

And I thoughts to myself was, well...maybe they be right, they wouldn't lie to me now, would they? Would they?!?!?

So I picked them to win today, just like they said they would. And look what happened.

I'm so ashamed I believed them.

Well, there's an old saying...fool me once, um, shame on...shame on you....well you know the rest...you aint going to fool me no more!

Things I learned from this game:


Seattle Defense, specially their front 7, looked really good. Which is good - they can go beat up Green Bay for us. Maybe even win. Seattle on the road, LOL.

Washington is pretty good everywhere except OL. Their OL was awful. If they could have protected collins and allowed them to run, they would have had this game all day.

Seattle did not impress me at all. Washington played as I had expected - poorly.

i thought seattle's defense played pretty well myself.

Seattle played like crap too, and the Skins got one of the luckiest bounces I've ever seen and STILL couldnt capitilize.

I felt empathetic for the Skins after Taylors death, but after hearing their idiot fans raving on and on about how they beat a resting Cowboys team, there was nothing sweeter than to see them get rocked by a sub-par Seattle team.

Now their demise really starts. This is the year that all their stupid front office moves come back to haunt them.

I'm as happy as anyone that they lost and just as sick of hearing about ST during every down moment of every 'Skins game, but this doesn't strike me as the time or place for tasteless jokes.

Just revel in the fact that the 'Skins will have to trot out the company line..."Just wait until next year..."
