What's funny is they Skins actually had help from the refs in that game, and they're still complaining. :)

Well, we shouldn't expect different. They were complaining before the game about the "artificial noise" and we all know how Gibbs likes to send videos the league office. When your coach and players act like that, usually the fanbase follows.

I can understand feeling bad because of the crowd noise. Aikman, and the boys sure seemed to play bad with a lot of crowd noise. I remember cringing a lot of times in the past. But that's all fair in football. I wish the fans in Texas Stadium could get that loud. BTW, does the way a stadium is designed effect crowd noise?

Like any true Cowboys fan, I hate the Commanders. But I take my hat off to them--the character, competitive fire, and camaraderie they showed this year, particularly after Sean Taylor's death, was incredible. Any fan of any team should be so lucky to see their team display such traits.

So while their season ended today, I won't be one doing a jig on their grave.

I tip my hat to them, and our teams will renew our rivalry once again next year.

Way to go, 'Skins.

I think you guys deserved to be in the playoffs. That was inspirational football you guys played. I just thought the media over blew it, and I don't think most teams go far in the playoffs with a backup. Say -- God forbid -- Romo went down, I wouldn't expect the Cowboys to go all the way. But you guys definitely deserved to be there. I just respect the Seahawks a lot. Were it the Bucs, you would have had a chance. Were it the Giants, you guys probably would have won.

What's sad is if the same thing happened to Dallas with Brad Johnson, I'd come into the playoffs thinking that they may get 1 win and hope for the best. At least Johnson has PLAYED IN THE LAST YEAR, much less the last 10 years. It's amazing that if you put your burgundy colored glasses down for just a second and look at things somewhat logically the conclusions you can come up with. It doesn't mean that you can't root for your team either.

Absolutely.

I was in charge of promoting venues for certain events back in college and I don't know the specifics, but certain buildings just had much better acoustics and we'd always try to book that building since it came off better on TV and helped the show.

You have nothing to be ashamed of. Your team, IMO, did not have the talent to win a championship this year. That's not a knock, that's just how it is in the NFL. I thought your team faced a lot of adversity this season. It's not easy to overcome some of the things you did. I'd say you did about as much as you could with what you had to work with.

It's a little disappointing to hear your fan base say that we were affraid to face you again but hey, it is what it is.

I don't have any negative opinions for you.

Good Job to the Skinz and what they overcame this year.

did you think that last year? just curious.

the skins definitely played their second worst game of the year tonight. that patchwork O line that had played respectably was crushed by the hawks. and collins didnt have much help from his WR either.

seattle brought their A game, no doubt, and the skins definitely did not.

now, somebody beat the pats please.
Heck no we didn't deserve to be there. I was glad to be there, but we didn't deserve to be there.

We played like crap and lost all those games, it's always better to play at home in the play offs.

Wow. Thanks for showing up. Funny thing is most here don't want to gloat over your loss its just those that act like idiots over their team. I found myself watching that game with such intensity like the Seahawks were the Cowboys only because of my disdain for the team.

One of the main reasons I have never liked the Skins was times past due to the rivalry and such but mainly what perpetuated it was seeing all the blind hatred a ton of Skins fans had for my team. I never understood it and it caused me to dislike them that much more in return. I am glad you came to the board and returned. At least you guys tried your best and didn't roll over. Your Oline looked like Swiss Cheese at times.

Im happy that those who are crappy Skins fans lost but to the decent fans, there is always next year and you guys played strong and at least had a run into the playoffs rather than stick with five wins only.

Gameday trolls are the worst and they were out in full force last week. I finally put a few on ignore. I would never go to another teams gameday thread but that's just me. Maybe deep down they are Cowboys fans and that's why they are here all the time.

Or perhaps we are more open minded about the league in general than a lot of fans who are simply one-dimensional.

:D Well I know me myself like to ruffle the feathers of those that I think are trolling. I'd be a lot more nicer if it seemed someone just came for serious football discussion.

I doubt anyone is really going to gloat that much. You guys have a lot to be proud of after salvaging your season like you did. When you guys took the lead, I had Commanders vs Cowboys dancing through my head. It's too bad it didn't work out that way, but in the end, a good showing.

When they took over the lead, there was someone who came home that generally roots for the person behind. And I had to yell at them for jinxing the game.
