:D What's funny is that right now on ES there is talk about JC > TC. :lmao: I think with TC the Commanders were a playoff team, without him, they would have been watching the playoffs from home.

I actually agree with them on this. I told one Skins fan (I want to say HogsRLegends) via PM that I thought Campbell gave them a better chance to win today because of the Seattle pass rush.

But do you think they would have had their 'on fire' four game winning streak with Campbell? I think they could have lost that Chicago game if he had stayed in.

That's a good post and I agree.

I just feel, as most here do, that this is vindication on how actually their fans were/have been the last couple games.

It is their fans who were classless towards not only Cowboy fans, but all NFL fans in suggesting that the Commanders were a team of destiny suddenly because they had a higher power in the death of Taylor. In a way, the Commanders fans themselves dishonored Taylor by that act.

They are kind of getting what they asked for. If they had kept their mouthes shut and their thoughts to themselves, they would be getting more respect here.

Dead on.

By Commanders logic, the Cowboys are a team of destiny given what has transpired with Ron Springs.

And I'm sure just about every team has some heart wrenching story of some sort that should be motivation for them to win.

I don't want to get into religious conversations, but what ever happened to deserving to win because you're the better team? All of this "team of destiny", "curses", and "jinxes" stuff is just ridiculous.

It's like one poster said here awhile ago, football fans are starting to act like old ladies with their curses and junk.

Like any true Cowboys fan, I hate the Commanders. But I take my hat off to them--the character, competitive fire, and camaraderie they showed this year, particularly after Sean Taylor's death, was incredible. Any fan of any team should be so lucky to see their team display such traits.

So while their season ended today, I won't be one doing a jig on their grave.

I tip my hat to them, and our teams will renew our rivalry once again next year.

Way to go, 'Skins.

The NFL caused us to lose this game

We lost because we played across the country on a short week. The Commanders were tired and flat the whole game.

The Seahawks will lose next week because they're not a very good team--they just have abusively good home field advantage. They would not have won this game on neutral turf.

Why did we get stuck with the early game on Saturday?

Never once did I use anything in any of my posts about Sean Taylor, and I won't do it now.

But the deadskin trolls over the past weak have ticked me off to no end. To me, the entire deadskin organization from Owner to fan are classless, and they got what they deserved.

The nerve to come in here after we lay down for them, and they talk their trash. Here's a thought, a 9-7 team doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs.

We've busted our butts to be 13-3, so we get the luxury of staying at home through-out the playoffs. So deadskin fans, stay the "F" outta here and Karma won't come back to haunt you.

Even better was the "we got screwed because you can't advance the kickoff rule."

Geez, I've seen that play happen only ONCE before in my entire time watching football, which spans nearly 30 years and that happened when the returner could have returned the ball, but just didn't know that if you don't return the ball, it's a live ball.

They probably had the luckiest play of the year handed to them and they came away with 0 points.

Dallas isn't the only one that is relieved.

Washington played havic with several of the playoff teams this year.

1) Dallas. We took them inches from a loss in Dallas and beat them at FedEx.

2)Green Bay. Played them very hard and made Favre have a horrible game. Only lost by 3.

3) Tampa Bay. Came very close to handing them a loss in Tampa Bay. We basically beat ourselves in that game

4) New York. Beat them at the Meadowlands convincingly.

Washington beat or came within 6 points of beating 80% of the NFC playoff teams.

I can only wonder how the season would have went had their been no injuries or tragedies. Here's to 2008 becoming a time of genuine respect for the Skins!!!

And another thread... People from this board don't act like that after a playofff loss? I hope not!...

What's funny is they Skins actually had help from the refs in that game, and they're still complaining. :)

did you think that last year? just curious.

the skins definitely played their second worst game of the year tonight. that patchwork O line that had played respectably was crushed by the hawks. and collins didnt have much help from his WR either.

seattle brought their A game, no doubt, and the skins definitely did not.

now, somebody beat the pats please.

Funny what happens when they play a team that has something to play for and a good QB. No Rex, Griese, Tavaris or team with nothing on the line today.

See ya foreskins.

That was a weird game. It was windy, but I've never seen so many drops by one team in a game in my life.

I wonder what the wind is like in Tampa? oh. nevermind.

I think you guys deserved to be in the playoffs. That was inspirational football you guys played. I just thought the media over blew it, and I don't think most teams go far in the playoffs with a backup. Say -- God forbid -- Romo went down, I wouldn't expect the Cowboys to go all the way. But you guys definitely deserved to be there. I just respect the Seahawks a lot. Were it the Bucs, you would have had a chance. Were it the Giants, you guys probably would have won.
