It's Not Just Us. The Entire Division is Awful

All the Cowboys had to do was put out a decent defense. Middle of the pack.
To what?

Win a bad division and get absolutely destroyed by San Fran or actual football teams?

Have you seen what the actual playoff teams are doing? lol.

This team cant even show up for Tampa Bay at home.

They are getting EVERYTHING they deserve currently.

I guess it's not just Dallas coaching that makes head scratching calls that helped cost them a game. Sure does make Shotty feel good.

I do that in a heart beat. But why on earth would the Giants do that? The legitimate question is would you do Dart straight up for Dak? Maybe add a day 2 pick from the Giants. Essentially, the trade would be a promising young QB with potential upside vs. an above average veteran that’s in the late autumn of his career.
Dart is out for the year. Giants are pretty complete NOW. They just need a QB.

Yeah, but the other three teams have made it to NFCCG's in the 21st Century. That the division is bad in 2026 doesn't excuse Dallas for 3 decades of this crap.

the difference is the Wagles have already seen enough and are in the midst of rebuilding and will build yet another contender before Jerry gets close. The Giants will be in the mix, but they still need a QB who can stay healthy. The Commies and Cowboys will continue to flounder with a decent regular season here and there due to a weak schedule.

Huge difference is that three of the four are playing with their starting QBs and the other has . . . Jameis Winston. The Giants are far from poorly coached.
Giants aren’t poorly coached, I agree. Neither is Washington or Philly tbh. I can’t stand Sirianni but he did win a Super Bowl. His schtick may cause him to lose his job, but I don’t think his coaching ability is the problem. The problem is that he’s not likable and that team’s offense is crippled with injuries and losing their starting C and RT (who happened to be their best OL). And as far as Washington goes, Dan Quinn is also not a bad coach. He coached Atlanta to a Super Bowl and gave Dallas a formidable defense we haven’t seen since he left. Granted he has some massive clock management flaws and etc., he still does some things really well.

Why does every other team in the NFL look like they play hard except for Dallas. They look like the dumbest team. They get confused and make stupid mistakes over and over again. And it’s not just the defense.

This has to be a first.

Not one team in the division won this week, and two of them played each other.

Exactly.

This whole "just win the division at 8-9 and be proud of the achievement because that's a good year" is B.S. I'd rather they finish 2-15 and try to rebuild than take it as a mildly good season to go 8-9 and get nationally embarrassed again in the WC round.

That's why I respect Philly even if I don't like em: they objectively look at themselves and ask "do we see any reason we have even a 5% chance of winning the SB this year?" If the answer is a resounding NO, they do whatever it takes to get back to that SB window again, even at the stake of some lame division title for one more year. They simply don't care about winning a 4 team division....whoopty-do. They bail, formulate a plan, get rid of the people the know won't be part of their next window, and speed up the rebuild....while we keep on as always, floating along with no plan....blathering the same ole mantra "just get in....then who knows what will happen!". BS....we know what will happen...we've had 30 years of this, so there's no guessing or forecasting, just a matter of are we gonna keep doing g what we always do while getting the same lame results, OR change our philosophy to something new. But....we know the answer to that. Hope everyone enjoys a 13 to 40 beat down in the wildcard as a best case scenario

I know Dart is out for the year…it’s why they traded for McCarthy. I’m just not convinced Dak gets them to the CG or SB this year (not an editorial statement about Dak). Win the Division, sure, but I don’t think they need Dak to do that. And certainly not giving a young QB and 2 1sts as the OP asked.

This, and why I would do the deal before they changed there minds, for the 2 first round picks.
