Maybe it's Cowboy bias, but pre-injury Erik Williams and Larry Allen (during his prime) were the two best O-linemen I've ever seen. Think I'm exaggerating about Big E? Just ask William Fuller and Reggie White. Fuller practically begged to be taken off the field. To me, Big E symbolizes the Greek tragedy that was the early-90's Cowboys better than anyone (even Michael Irvin.)Eskimo said:Flo really shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as the pre-injury Big E who played at an All-Pro level. E was nasty, had great pride and would consistently dominate on almost every play. The post-injury E was robbed of a lot of his mobility and was a different player altogether.
LA was a dominator in his prime and one of the all-time greats. On a good day, Flo doesn't compare to what he was.
If Flo played up to his potential he would be a Pro Bowler. He would still be a notch below Pace, Ogden and Walter Jones.
By whom? If that's all you remember, then you weren't paying very close attention.TheFuture21 said:Unfortunately the only thing remembered about Erik Williams is the "hands to the face" rule
Fair enough, but I think any real football fan will recognize how good Big E was. The guy was simply dominant.TheFuture21 said:i was being sarcastic, but i think for people who arent cowboy fans that is what they know
