I strained my groin once. Initially, it wasn't bad at all. Later in the day though, I couldn't move without having pain, I couldn't shift when I was sitting, or anything.
Here's the thing:
If Vick strained his groin like I strained mine, I'm sure that he'd be able to play for the rest of the game (I felt a little tweak in my groin when I first got hurt, and it took about 10-15 minutes before the twinges really set in).
If he pulled it, I have no idea if he'd be able to play.
The thing is, Vick and Mora Jr. both probably knew that if the Falcons were to win the game, it'd be on the shoulders of the passing Schaub, not the running Vick.
That's my take. It really doesn't matter, as I think Schaub (IMO, the better passer) would give Atlanta the better chance.
