IMO it isn't that big of a deal that a guy gets injured and is smart enough to take himself out instead of jeopardizing his team when he knows he can't play. However..... I do remember Emmitt Smith dislocating a shoulder and coming back to have a great game..... but not even a good RB like Vick comares to a guy like Emmitt when it comes to both class and will to win.

i agree that Vick should little toughness but they were gonna lose anyways and probably did the right thing in coming out of the game

*** are you talking about? I've seen a Vinnie Testaverde lead Dallas team score 2 TDs in less than 2 minutes to win a game.

Vick is the highest paid player in the league. The only way he should leave the game early is on a stretcher. He let his fans and team down.

Have you ever pulled a groin? I have - you stop dead like something jumped up and bit you - it's like fire.
The man tore us up tonite - respect that - TO is a punk not Vick.

i couldnt agree more. kudos to Vick i thought he played extremely well both passing and running, had he saw Crumpler on that 4th and 1, they probably go on and win the game.

None of you know how badly he was hurt.

But I am glad there are so many experts in this thread...

You know these threads are just about people stating their opinions so acting like a ******* doesn't make you look smart. Just a little tip for you. Most of us support the same team, and if nobody ever stated their opinions on a subject or a game then this board wouldn't be a very interesting place.......

I saw nothing on that play that would indicate that he was hurt. I saw more vicious hits on him earlier in the game.

He is a puss.

okay thats taking it way too far, what if he was seriously hurt and could not play well because of it??? would u still want him in the game even though he would not only risk himself getting further hurt but probably hurt his teams chance at a comeback???

Bottom line is that HE MUST PLAY. No excuses. The only way he leaves the game early is on a stretcher.

Putting in Schaub is much more riskier.

Man I miss the days when players like Favre and Emmitt would put the team on their shoulders, despite injury.

Again, Vick has 100 million reasons to stay in the game.

And what did he feel genius? Are you his groin?

:laugh2:

He pulled a McNabb, and all of you are defending him. Unbelievable.

All I am saying is that I don't know what Vick felt, how bad it was, etc.

I do not pretend to know what Vick was feeling on that play. Which is why I am leaving that part up to the experts in this thread....

Pulled groin, don't think so, I pulled a groin playing B-Ball once and went down right away. Strained maybe, but I suspect it was more of a charley horse, he did catch a knee in the groin muscle.

Come on...have a heart! Im not a Vick fan but a pulled groin is a pulled groin. Trying to play on that would actually hurt his team because you simply cant run with it and if you keep playing on it you can tear it. So hey critisize him for other things but not for having a pulled groin!

it's true you have trouble running on a sprained groin, but c'mon, it's not like they asked Shaub to run around, or do much, Vick could have done the same thing, instead of ditching his team

Arthur Blank should cut ties with both Jim Mora and Vick. If I were in Blank's shoes, both would be sent packing.

Vick walked off the field, was walking around after the game, didn't show much visible signs of distress doing it either

he wasn't that hurt

Hmm, your down by 10 with 1:48 to go. Your still in the playoff hunt.

You contunue playing, make it worse, and possibly put yourself out of for the rest of the year. OR

do you come out, let the back up come on in, and see what is wrong in the morning.

He made the smart descion for the rest of the season. THe game was over, they werent down by 3. They werent within one. They were down by 10, with under 2:00 miuntes. Dont critze a player for something as stupid as this

learn how to type
