Hard to differentiate for me between Sherrod and T Smith. I know T Smith is generally ranked higher than Sherrod, though both are expected to be 1st rounders in most mock drafts/analyst expectations.

I guess Smith has more upside given his young age and probably more athleticism.

exactley, i'm officially on board with this guy now as well. he could man RT for for now and at only 20 he is 7 years younger than free could be our LT down the road as well.

Really people, does no one watch football. Stop looking a his measurements and highlight videos. He was moved from LT to RT at USC because he couldn't pass protect. The guy is very very raw and needs a year just to develop to become a starting RT. He needs alot of work to be a LT.
Free played above very well this season at LT. He stays at LT, no way I'm replacing Free with a rookie that couldn't even play LT in the Pac 10.

I've heard rumblings. I mentioned to SDogo a while back that we were really vigilant in scouting Smith. He is the most scouted player by Dallas this year. I believe we had at least one scout at every single game he played. No other player that I know of.

I know that the team loves Peterson. Not speculation at all. They were thrilled he was playing in the Cotton Bowl where they could see him up close.

If he is there, I think they have to take him. if he is not, I have always thought Tyron Smith was their guy, possibly in a trade down. he may be making trade down unlikely.

Now let's not forget here, this is a lot of weight gain. Is it due to work or food? If he is sluggish at all at the workouts or is even heavier on his Pro Day and doesn't do what they hope, he'll plummet.
