Whether or not Pacman did this is irrevlant(sp), (and if he did hes an idiot) this happened 2 seasons ago. He served a lengthy suspension and came back on the field. Im not taking up for the guy Im moreso looking at Espn biased here. Why would you go looking, digging, hunting etc if you dont have a vendatta? If they did find new evidence, well, why dont you give it to the police and let them make a statement if it needs be. Instead, espn promotes an hour show coming up this weekend. The way they did this is so unprofessional. Its like bringing up Kobe's affair again or new allegations in the Ron Artest fight in Detriot. Hate to say it but Espn is out to get us bad. They have hired private investigators and I would bet Owens, Romo and some others all have someone following them. I would be mad if I were a player too. These reporters are like nats they dont leave you alone. Anyone else agree?

Oh yes, it's the evil ESPN reporters who told Pacman to hire a murderer to bust a cap into some fools at a nightclub just so they can get ratings. Those evil muddasuckas!

They don't have new evidence. Their new information is that they found out what the police already knew -- that someone (apparently someone other than the targets) said Jones ordered the shooting.

But its not. And its not because no other teams would give him the chance.

You put yourself out there and take the risk, you better be ready for any backlash. Its that simple.

If you can't handle the rightly deserved criticism, don't watch.

Is there a media bias? Probably to some extent but I highly doubt there is an ESPN think tank just looking for ways to smear a little mud on Dallas. Just doesn't make sense. Dallas hasn't been a winning team. They are just another team at this point. The only difference, Dallas wins a lot of offseasons.

I usually don't watch many of their shows. Not by design but just how it works out.

I like Mike & Mike when I am up early enough to watch it. I don't think ESPN is all that bad really.

Sure, I could use a little less of their antics but I can live with them.

*cough*cough* ........... Marvin Harrison

Marvin hasn't been involved in an infinite number of "incidents".

Furthermore, they haven't even determined who pulled the trigger in that case.

Honestly, do you really hold Dallas free from fault in their representation by the media? Do you think that it is all completely undeserved?

Do you think it is simply all conjured up?

I don't see what everyone is complaining about. We've become a circus of late given our personnel decisions and we haven't won a playoff game in 13 seasons. We're kind of a joke right now.

This is far from proof that ESPN has a Cowboys bias. This is actual hard news. In fact, it is one of the few times they actually break real news concerning the team. The rest is the result of Werder's recollection of what the Valley Ranch floor buffer over heard the other night.

Jerry is the one that flies around his reporters, and holds extra guys on the staff. He eats this **** up.

Look no furthur than plastic face, for the reason why each season we have a spectacle. Even with BP here, we couldn't help but have weekly ordeals.

Now?

I don't blame the media for all ills like some, but sure they love to report dirt on us. We all know how many people hate the Cowboys and eat this up.

You know they hated that we cut him. Takes a little sizzle out of the story for it to be out-of-the-league Pacman that's the focus of the story and not current Dallas Cowboy Pacman.

Last I heard, the creator is a Commanders fan, so there's your answer to why the Cowboys are always targeted.

This report is no example of ESPN bias. They'd be stupid to sit on a story like this if they found it. If Pac were still with the Titans do you think they would have sat on this? I don't.

Links to 2 shootings by the same guy, but mum's the word? Seriously?

Take off the tin foil hat on this idea.

Pacman only made one play for us this year, forcing a fumble against the Packers.

Outside of that he costed us tons of PR yards, and was constantly out of position on defense.

I doubt anyone even risks picking him up. Sad thing, I think his story is going to end really badly. You don't put out hits on 3 gang bangers, and expect nothing to happen in return. He's either gonna go broke and get busted for slinging drugs, or go broke and get shot. He blew a golden opportunity.

Didn't a Jaguars player and ex-player get targeted in a shooting a few months back. Have we heard much about that?

The story may or may not be true, but criminal investigation is not what sports channels do, exactly. You think there's no possibility their heightened interest has anything to do with how T.O. has treated ESPN this season?

Amazing how two sports networks report the same piece of news:

FoxSports said "Cowboys have released cornerback Adam 'Pacman' Jones"

ESPN said "Cowboys release cornerback Adam 'Pacman' Jones amid rumors of involvement in an Atlanta shooting two years ago"

Anyone else notice the difference?

Hey, Yo! Apollo! :laugh2:

While this is true... he was so close to 3-4 pick 6's or atleast INT's in his limited play with us.

Just goes to show... if he had stayed clean and made it about football - Jerry's gamble would have paid off.

Oh well. I didnt see Pac being smart enough to last with us.
