He's done it to us once for a terrible network and tv gig, he should do it again to allow the better player the chance to play and stop hindering this offense. He should accept the #2 role behind Jarwin so this team can add another weapon. Sick and tired of the entire narrative of this warrior, this amazing captain. Not saying he's a bad guy cause he's obviously a great human being and does so much outside of football but he ran for the money as fast as anyone else once that BSPN offer came in. He abandoned his team and he's nearing the end anyways. Let the young kid with upside get on the field more. Thanks!

Do you what percentage of plays the Cowboys run a 2 TE offense?

Did you know Jarwin started last week against Detroit?

What do you consider starting? On the first play from scrimmage, the incompletion to Cooper, Witten was in.

One thing I noticed is Witt still draws doubled teams on critical third downs which helps out others to make plays.

I agree Jarwin needs to get more snaps/targets .

Have some respect for #82. I want Jarwin to get more reps too but you don’t have to disrespect Witten to do so.
The truth is that Jason Witten is a much beloved player... but he needs to go. Look I know you guys love the guy, but he’s hindering the team. Dak looks up to the guy so much he’ll continue to throw his way even if he’s in a wheel chair. But can we all agree that Jarwin is the best option moving forward?
I can agree with that......Witt reminding me of the boxer in the ring one round too many.

I think Witten has play okay.

The fact is the guy did leave the team high and dry last year. How everyone doesn’t understand this is beyond me.

I don't understand how one can't understand that Witten plays because he is better.
The same way some people wanted Heath out and Thompson in. They know better than the coaches who see these guys in practice every week.

Great guy, but I've watched a lot of great Cowboys retire. He should have never been brought back

. he is currently 74th amongst TEs in yds per reception.. 74th people! he is no longer a good blocker either, he simply cannot get there.

short yardage and goal line ONLY.

The coaches are beginning to adjust his PT hopefully they'll continue.

Everyone is not fortunate enough to experience working in a job they love without exception. Or debating with themselves whether it is time to retire when you are still relatively young and your desire has not completely evaporated. Or securing another career opportunity hoping it would replace your present one in terms of personal satisfaction. Or endure the enormous sense of loss that comes with missing euphoria.

Fairly or wrong, Jason Witten can catch flack for all of the above. General managers pay salaries and terminate player contracts. Head coaches designate who plays and doesn't.

Yes, Jarwin deserves more minutes. However, the application of blame for Jarwin's fewer minutes is completely off target.

Now let's consider starting a humor thread about that toupée...

Is this one of those "Unleash (player) ________" threads?
