I like Tyron is at practice roughing dudes up already. This is the Playoff push, so I love it actually, Tyron setting the tone...if you soft get off the field, this grown man business.

I'm all for the OL punishing defenses at an even better clip...hope #77 stays healthy and they wreak shop.
Tyrone, Tyler, we can run behind either side of this line.

To me, Dak just gave Smith a great nickname.
"The Gold Jacket".
Dude will likely be a 1st ballot HOFer. (Tyron, not Dak... lol/smh)
Crazy that we have 3 shoe in's on the OL right now for the HOF. Martin, Smith and Peters.

I hope he doesn't break anyone. On our team.

In related news, Parsons, Armstrong, and Sam Williams have been placed on injured reserve as a result of rib injuries.

Thanks. Tyron. Indeed, you have made an "impact".

I am kinda weirded out that the dude is only 32. I swear it feels like he has been here forever and should be much older. I realize that he came in really young but it is still hard to wrap my head around.

Naw but posters here say he shouldn't be playing and our rookie LG should be taking his snaps. So...like...gotta side with the geniuses here.
To be fair the rook has played well enough to earn the spot. His problem is that he is playing a spot reserved for a future HOF'r that is top 3 in the league when he's healthy and isn't ready to be put out to pasture yet. Don't worry though. Tyler will be back at left tackle.... Tyron will get hurt again. Book it!

By all accounts he himself is even bigger than he used to be. With nothing to do except lift and work out he apparently added some muscle mass to his already massive arms. Apparently he had to get bigger knee braces for his elbows. Can you image.. and even STRONGER Tyron Smith? The mind boggles.. He may get hurt again soon, but my guess is he's going to send at least two opposing defenders to IR before he does.

Injury is always a possibility especially at OL where players get rolled up on. Last season he played in a 11 games, last time I checked we did not have 11 games on the schedule. I think he will be fine for the rest of this season.

Yeah no one knows how long he will last.. but the Cowboys would be absolute idiots not to try and find out if he can return to his all pro level. I think he rushed back from that ankle last year which is why it cost him two stints on the injured list and caused his footwork to suffer when he DID make it back. People forget how well he was playing before TP rolled up on his leg that first time. Injury history be damned.. I'm giving that guy his job back the moment he's ready and let him prove whether he can play or not. Then I can decide what I need to do next based on information and data not feelings and guesswork.
