Truth is, there will still be useable free agents after the draft. I think teams want to see where the stand in June.

I agree. June 1 isn't that the next big FA run after cuts.

No. Since the teams have been allowed to use the "June 1st" exemption early, i.e. Miles Austin, the former influx of June 1st free agents has gone away.

Outside of a few guys getting cut between now and training camp, the next big group of cuts won't happen until the teams cut down prior to the start of the season.

....cause if we don't get Melton, and then lose out on Ayers, we're done from here on out. Eat a bowl of Quaker Oats and lie down, Tiny!

Are you sayin we should sign him because he's a bust? Your supposed to say Marrinelli could revive his career. You need some spin classes.

I don't want anything to do with Ayers. He showed nothing in his time in Denver.

Robert Ayers is just a name... hell, he's not even that.

Former 1st rounder (IIRC) that never really panned out. Could Marinelli get more out of him? Probably. But let's be real, there's only so much coaching can do.

Unless we get Ayers for vet min, I say no.

Ayers is now the guy they look to? Man, this upcoming draft had better bring the Cowboys some really good young talent.
