It's so blatantly obvious

The defense is 'bottom of the league' worthy without Lee and a healthy Jourdan Lewis. Yep, you read that right. I said a healthy Jourdan Lewis. Though a rookie, he's by far the best tackling corner on the team. Then add in the loss of the defensive captain and the D looked so much worse than the 'average' D that they truly are. Guys weren't in the correct positions, for the formation that the Rams were showing, and they got carved up by a guy who's playing on reconstructed knee. Albeit, that knee looked Super Man bionic to me.

And on the O-side of the ball, stone hands Williams reverted back to his old self. As my Dad always told me, 'If the ball hits your hand(s), it's on YOU for dropping it no matter if it was tipped, thrown by a girl (no offense ladies) or if your hand/finger(s) is broken.'. If he catches that 2-point conversion, not to mention the drop on the last drive, they kick the FG and go into OT. What happens then is anyone's guess.

It did. But lets remember, Frederick did not hold on that 1st attempt. Should have been 2 there and the Offense never should have been in that position to begin with.
Exactly. Hard to see how an unbiased person could make that call. Especially, given the game situation. You just never see that. They let many go as we all have the painful memory of Irving being choked and tackled on the last play last year.

Very frustrating.

it was clear from offseason/preseason this would be a transition season for alot of positions with growing pains. breaking in 2 new o linemen who are playing out of position and against good defenses early in the season. the D will struggle but hopefully will be much better and healthier later in the year.

Absolutely!!! You know the call was straight BS when an announcer, who's trying to not allow his love for his Cowboys show, calls it a 'terrible call'. Moose does a great job being partial and that was the first time that I remember him blatantly sticking up for his team getting shafted by a bad penalty.

While we wait for the transition and growing pains, we may find out that the season gets away from us. I still feel we should have kept either Carr or Claiborne (I preferred Claiborne) and either Church or Wilcox (I wanted Wilcox and he would have been cheaper too). We could have made a smoother transition to the younger players.

This was a team loss.

Too many break downs.

I also think Gurley would not have run as well on us if Sean Lee was playing.
Gurley is way more talented than CJ Anderson who ran over Lee like a piece of paper. Sorry just don't see Lee making the difference out there yesterday.

Not having Lee was key, just as Arizona not having Johnson last week.
Right now we're just not talented enough.
I recognized Dak had pocket passing issues last year. He's a great kid and maybe he will get better. That was great route by JW, you can't miss those throws. . Dez misses Romo. Romo made receivers
look better than they are. Taco is not ready for the NFL, cannot understand why he is active and gets so many snaps. Jaylon Smith is a great story but his play is less than average. We need Hich back soon.
The secondary will be good, but it may be too late if we dont clean some of this up.

Linebacker may be our #1 priority right now headed into the offseason.
Why do you say that?

Lee is great. Hitchens is solid. Even Wilson shows up. Smith -- who knows what he will become.

Safety is in dire need of an upgrade, IMO. Far more than LB

They stink.

But let's wait until Irving, Lee, Hitchens and Awuzie are all out there. That's a lot of talent injured or suspended

It should have been in the off-season. I for one was clamoring for it. When we're all begging for Hitch to get back we got problems.....

obvious to me
this board is incredible toxic after a loss, any loss and some wins

we not defending superbowl champs or conference champs
we have a new team, that why the stupid power ranks week 1 are silly because nobody knows anything even the teams
we have problems we have new line position problems suspensions injuries and maybe just maybe the team can be pretty good but not as good as the best?
so yeah complain and be angry sad whatever but the hate and people through with so & so lol
im sure this board has been super funny to all the other teams laughing atr the crybabies

i dont hate the Eagles. i dont hate the Giants or Commanders i only really dont like a few players in the nfl and most dont because you hate the guy until we trade for him

what i cant stand are those teams fans. and these Cowboy fans after a bad game i dislike just as much.

He caught 4 of 6 targets. The bigger issue in the passing game is forcing the ball to Dez. That's hurting the offense much more.
It isn't the forcing the ball to Dez that is killing us, it is not being capable of getting the ball to Dez in the right spots. Granted Dez has been at fault on a couple of drops, but more times then not Dak hasn't been placing the ball in the right spots.

Defenses are forcing Dez and Williams/Butler to beat them. Arizona and the Rams (2nd half) doubled Witten and Beasley and dared Dallas to throw it to the outside WRs
