Why didn't he just throw away the ball instead of taking a sack early on? It pushed them out of FG range or possibly going for it on 4th down when the game was still competitive. The does this often. Most QBs just throws the ball away, but Dak takes the sacks. Its pushed them out of FG range several times this year. Seems like he has brain farts consistently. Its time to move on even if they take a step back. Can't keep doing the same thing and expect different results.
I agree, We have a QB that has horrible awareness and he panics in big moments....same story in the playoffs every year...I bet Lance would have been better

He did better this year but my non-favorite Dak move is when he feels pressure he does that stupid spin move....right into a pass rusher and takes an even bigger loss.

So Dak threw the ball away all season long, but he didn't this one time during the playoffs. How is this......"He does this often."???

He literally pooped his pants on national television. Honest to goodness pooped his pants. A grown man. The defense quit like a bunch of babies but our leader pooped his pants.
I do not think you know what "literally" means.

I’m just saying this is what he does. If he threw the ball away he wouldn’t have half of his big plays he’s made.
There is a difference in scrambling and moving outside the pocket to make a play and knowing there is no play to be made and just throwing the ball away. Dak doesn't know the difference. QBs with good awareness does both. I think Dak takes the sack because he wants to protect his stas

Dak has no situational awareness.

Good thing he's not in the military deployed in a hostile reguon

Protect his stats from what lol? How does taking a sack protect your sacks?

Horrible first half. Made some perplexing decisions/reads that I think accounted for 17 points (sack took away field goal attempt, 2 picks). First pick, should have stayed on Ceedee. Had plenty of time, got sped up by a little pressure from left end. Second pick was poor recognization, Packers lined up in cover-2 and then shifted out of it at the snap into cover-3, with 2nd safety sitting on the slant while also covering the shallow crosser.

Played better in second half, but Packers probably did not want to show more of their defense.

Dak's play didn't really matter, because the defense played worse.

Dak needs a Parcells-type coach to help him with his decision-making. He's not like Romo who breaks the rules to take risks because that's inherent to his style. Dak needs more guidance, imo.

This was Dak's 8th year. No coach is going to be able to teach him anything substantially helpful this late in his career. He is what he has shown to be, which is an average QB that caves under pressure.

The sad part is, Jerry can’t admit his mistakes and will hang on to whatever to show he is right. Look how long he held onto Garrett.
now that transfers to Dak.
