great news, especially considering his play the last 3 games ;)
I know, right? He allowed like 1 catch on saturday. No Interceptions!?!?!?!! This is a travesty.

He was close all night, but they had him covering Crumpler alot,

Tnew covered Crumpler man 2 man the entire 1st half. Not Roy.

Tnew covered him when we went into our nickel. In our base, Roy came down, every time.

I really don't understand Zimmer coaching these guys to keep their backs to the ball so long. I don't see any other team using this technique. We only have 2 INT's from our corners this year and Henry has really regressed with this coaching style. He was our MVP last year because he always knew where the ball was when it was in the air.

Opposing teams' QB's have no fear of throwing on our CBs because they simply are no threat to intercept the ball.

We all say that Kevin Smith's career was ruined by the achilles injury, But now I think it was Zimmer who hurt Kevin Smith more than the injury. Anthony Henry is headed down that same path.

This eloquently sums up what Zimmer can do to an athelete - take the greatness (or potential greatness) COMPLETELY out of him.

A. Henry needs to moved to FS where he is both a hitter and can spy the ball better because he can SEE it coming rather than having his back to the ball. And for all of those who say that he is being paid too much to be a FS, well, look at what being "frugal" has gotten us? His cap number next year would warrant a move to FS and bringing in another good cover corner. Move RW closer to the LOS and our secondary could be a monster.

The defense is lacking another D-Ware that's plan and simple, I think drafting a guy like Lemar Woodley from Univ. of Michigan could solve the lack of pass rush because he's a OLB/DE at and playing Hatcher more could produce some serious heat next year in 2007.
