It's time to BOO

Exactly where I am at . Im a fan for over 50 years. This isnt good for me to be so invested in something so flawed . So egregiously flawed and so inept at the top. I really want to step away but my love always brings me back.
But we as fans MUST stand up ... if we indeed love this team then we need to make that stand. Its NOT gonna change ...
I walked away in 2008 from decades of a season ticket holder and vowed to never purchase a ticket from Cowboys tickets again from Jethro.

I won’t walk away from being a fan nor the NFL so indirectly I’m still supporting. It’s not the players fault we have such a narcissistic owner and dysfunctional organization.

While tens of thousand of longtime season ticket holders joined me unfortunately the corporate world took over along with younger businessman who had wanted for years to have access for better season tickets .

We argued being locked in for 30 years with PSL’s wouldn’t allow fans to stay away but they vowed they could broker some tickets if necessary which has ultimately placed us in this pickle . Unlike in the 80’s when fans became disenchanted and stayed away in record numbers .

Ref: SI.com: Loss to Bucs Dampens Cowboys Hopes

A article that is a good "smelling salts" read for us fans.
  • "For what is closing in on 30 years, the Cowboys have fancied themselves contenders. America’s Team. The standard was built on the backs of names like Staubach, Landry, Pearson, White, Aikman, Johnson, Irvin and Smith. These days, that standard is nothing more than a rumor, proven true only by a glance at the Ring of Honor."

  • "There’s no evidence, and hasn’t been for quite some time, that Dallas is capable of matching the hype."

  • "While the defense was predictably awful (it has ranked 28th, 30th and 30th, respectively, since 2024), Dak Prescott looked lost all night."

Fact !
Been a fan 51 years and this Franchise is a complete joke.
I hardly tell folks I am a fan of this team anymore.
It's embarrassing to be associated with them.
My cowboys gear is in mothballs....

Sometime in the second half last night, after watching the Cowboys defense unable to stop the Bucs and their UDFA rookie QB convert on a 3rd and 21, the boo birds came out in force at AT&T. And they continued the rest of the night.

My reaction: Good. It’s one of only two weapons fans have to use against the arrogance and hubris of this owner. Booing in person or even better, not buying the product.

When fans boo, it’s probably the only feedback Jerry gets that is honest since he is surrounded by sycophants and yes men. Never is heard a discouraging word within the walls of the Star when it comes to the long needed accountability at the top.

So even if you’re the biggest homer on this board, it’s time to boo. It’s past time to send a message.

In fact…Here are some points to consider when wondering what to boo:
  • Going back to 2024, the Cowboys are 1-5-1 in their last 7 “prime time” home games.
  • The Cowboys are the first home team since 1975 to lose to an 0-4 opponent at home.
  • Jerry has traded away almost all of the team’s 2027 draft picks in his aggressive “rebuild” of the defense. (He doesn’t know what he’s doing. He’s never been good at rebuilding a roster)
  • This off-season, once again the leaders of this team sold a huge bill of goods about this off-season and this new team and DC “being different”. Many fans drank that kool aid. It’s not different other than a new cast finding ways to lose.
It’s time to boo! As loud and as often as we can.
I can get behind that but with Jerry having 17 Billion dollars plugging his ears, I don't think he'll hear it

Yep. If fans started wearing bags over their heads Jerry would probably sell bags in the gift shop for $25 dollars a pop.
Maybe Jerry will start selling Dallas Cowboy shirt with BOO as the caption. It's all about the money.

Yup. They are a disgrace. I was happy to get a great deal on the youtube sunday ticket. Now I won't even be using it and regret paying for it at all.

Local Cowboy fans call him the most hated sports personality in DFW area while still loving and supporting the Cowboys . It’s a love/ hate relationship.

It’s a very small segment who’d be lined up for Jethro’s autograph. I’d argue most likely they’d be from afar.
Greggo, I think most Cowboys fans who don’t live in the DFW area are unaware of how unpopular Jerry and his family are here in the metroplex.

Listen to Dallas sports radio (except 105.3 The Fan which is the homer flag waving station where JJ and SJ are served softballs each interview) The boos for Jerry are the loudest in the Dallas area.

I can’t even count how many friends and family members I have that live here in the DFW area who honestly consider the Cowboys a joke - an unserious organization.

Where you at the game and heard the Boos in person or heard it over the TV?
Where any of you all the game heard the Boos that Bobhaze is talking about?
I was 2 hours from ATT Stadium and didn't even bother to pay the Prime Video
to watch the game. And Glad I didn't after this mess!!! hehe lol   :muttley::lmao:

You could hear the boos on TV. Al Michaels referenced it at least once.

yeah, that will show Jerry. LMAO...

and maybe don't buy but a few cool jerseys and not attend all the games you have tickets for. Maybe give them to some homeless guys. That will show Jerry.

Jerry on three.........three.

Good Gosh! hehe lol Wow!!!

By the way, I love your avatar of Brother Bob Hayes! :flagwave::starspin:
My Dad should have left the country during the era of the Cowboys and came
to Dallas and made some real money with his business. haha

This team has earned its boos. Yes, do that. I'm also not buying any merch, going to any games, or even paying to watch on TV. It's possible to watch these games without paying for something like the NFL Ticket. Maybe you see the game in a pub; maybe you find some other way.

But this team looks completely incompetent. It deserves those boos. It deserves it when fans refuse to buy merch.

Interesting tidbit - Since 2024, the Cowboys have played 7 “prime time” evening games at home on national TV. We are 1-5-1.

Here are the results:
  • Nov 18, 2024- L vs Hou 34-10
  • Dec 9, 2024- L vs Cincy 27-20
  • Dec 22, 2024 - W vs TB 26-24
  • Sept 28, 2025- TIE vs GB 40-40
  • Nov 3,2025 - L vs Ari 27-17 (Jacoby Brissett at QB)
  • Dec 14, 2025 - L vs Minn 34-26 (JJ McCarthy’s best game, lol)
  • Oct 8, 2026 - L vs TB 24-16 (against the mighty Jalen Daniels)
Cowboys: Not Ready For Prime Time
This is more proof that when the lights get too bright Dak and the team come up small.

And he would get confused and get it all wrong to boot too, selling the paper bags in Blue and Silver. Then besides the sad mouth cut into the paper bag he sell smiling paper bags for the likes of Rocky and Rambo.

Yeah, let's buy some tickets and go to the game, and BOO Jerry; that will show him.

*chuckles*
