I wish I could make this a poll but what do you think would happen if we ran the ball 65-70% of the time instead of passing the ball 80% of the time?
Personally I believe we would get more out of our pass but remain stable with the run. Think about it for a minute because what we are doing now with our passing game is merely padding stats against the lesser teams. The whole #1 ranked offense is an illusion. I'm sure Garrett would never try it but it would be nice to try to establish a run game just to see what the three headed monster can do but please for the love of OJ, can we try something other than the draw?
Since Wade and Garrett took over this team has been in a pattern. We dominate most of the weaker teams which inflates our stats giving the illusion that all is well but then we struggle or lose against teams with a decent or solid defense. And December comes and we are still running those same stat padding plays but losing. Passing more is clearly not the answer.
Romo can only get pressured, knocked down, and sacked so many times and then he starts to make mistakes. I was hoping this would be the year our talent could over come the pattern but when we struggled to put up points against Philly I saw the pattern coming back. I can't believe how many of you can't see this pattern. Passing 70% of the game is not the answer folks, let's try running. It's actually our strength if we set it up correctly...
