I know some are going to look at this post and say "I can't believe he realistically thought Jerry would make a change mid season"... Yes. I did think so. This guy Phillips is serving no purpose right now. Zero.. Zilchimundo! It is a true indictment of where the owner/GM's head is when he says he will undoubtedly keep this lame duck on for the rest of the season. I wish I had that much good money to throw away in these tough economic times! We have to sit through week after week of the most dumbfounded looks ever. The camera's flash to this guy after yet another Cowboys mistake and you would swear he was trying to figure out the Riemann Hypothesis. This guy deserved to be nowhere near a Dallas Cowboys sideline. The team has completely quit on him. Keeping him around is stupid IMO... You fire his *** and give Jason Garrett an interim head coach title test for the rest of the season...

Well that's my birthday, so maybe I'll get a nice present. Actually, at this point, I'm just hoping that the Giants and Steelers don't make it to the SB. Either of those teams winning would be like a ton of salt being poured into the gaping wound that is the 2010 season. There is little the Cowboys can do that will really pick me up at this point <cue some sad song like "Everybody Hurts">.
