IS there a way to sync two libraries to one device?

Piece of cake. IM me if you need more details.
Basically, this is ********.TheCount;2769561 said:There's no way to sync music from two computers to one device using iTunes, if that's your question.
It IS possible to sync music from one computer and say Podcasts/Movies from another but basically Apple has a closed system when it comes to syncing music. Only one computer can sync music to a device, if you try to sync another, it will require you to erase all the music from the device first.

...and the RIAA wants to keep it that way.TheCount;2770812 said:I wouldn't go that far. They have a closed system, and to a lot of people that is a turn off, but when it comes to media, there are plenty of closed systems out there.
The XBOX 360 and PS3 are completely different architectures. Though, emulation is completely possible. You can install Linux on PS3 and Sony allows this. Microsoft's XBOX360? No so much.TheCount;2770812 said:You don't expect a Playstation game to play in an XBox, and there's no outrage there.
Sure, some things go smoother. Just not your rights, among other things. Microsoft is Microsoft. Apple wants to be the next Microsoft.TheCount;2770812 said:If you're willing to live in that closed system, you'll find that generally things go smoothly. Another option is to become adept at manuvering around that closed system, which is what I have to do since I own both PC's and Mac's.

My music player and phone is a Blackberry. I can install what I want on it, and Apple can't tell me no by blocking it from their app store and my music doesn't have DRM on it. (not to mention I can't change my battery without having to send it to Apple) My PC is Ubuntu and the door isn't closed to what hardware and software I wish to run on it. Apple can shove it, I will spend my money elsewhere, thanks.

I don't care than Apple prefers a closed system, I enjoy being able to install apps with a single button click on my phone and keep them updated just as easily. The iPhone is the best phone I've ever used, and I hate cell phones.
The RIAA is another issue.

A cause is one thing I definitely have. I have worked with these types of companies for years. I know what they really are. Don't ever think you as their customer come first. That is the furthest from the truth.
I like many of their products, I just refuse to use them in protest. Don't worry, at some point you too will figure it out. Maybe when your battery needs replacing.
TheCount;2771569 said:I don't know many companies these days where money doesn't come before the customer.
nyc;2771598 said:Money is always important to a company, but price gouging customers is a different story. Apple is like high fashion. It is far more expensive than the value it returns to the consumer. People pay the inflated prices because they're sheep as noted earlier.
Look at Microsoft's current line of commercials. They are a company that does the same thing Apple does, but the difference is Apple is "hip" where as Microsoft for a long time, was the only choice. Microsoft says, buy a powerful PC with everything you could need on it for $1,500. Obviously, you aren't getting a powerful Mac for that price even though it they both run on the same type of hardware.
...fashion is the definition of leading sheep to the slaughter. Apple without question is a fashionable brand.

I know a itouch isn't worth 300 dollars but I like it so much im willing to pay it.
Even though my last one conked out on me and the next one will most likely do the same eventually.
