Well, I talk to people all around the NFL so perhaps you shouldn't be so cocky. I mean, you coached high school football and heard the guy speak. Big deal. It doesn't mean he's going to be a huge success because you heard him give a pep talk. From the people I spoke with outside the high school level, they all pretty much say the same thing. Great guy, will improve the defense right away, players will love him at first. However, the neagtive most people believe is his style is built for only a couple of seasons because players get tired of his "I'm your buddy" act in the long term and the team suffers on the field (See Herm Edwards, a coach a lot of people compared Phillips to). Of course, since Jerry Jones already has his next head coach picked out before he's ever called an offensive play, that shouldn't be a problem. I didn't get this info from TV, I got it from GM's, coaches and players. But make sure and let us know the next guest speaker you have at your high school. I'll be on the edge of my seat.
