I'd give him a shot. He had his best season last year and I'd rather have him over that moron Santana Moss.

He will probably be picked up by the Patriots. They want guys who can get YAC. Also, he had a twitter incident (in which he made a fool out of himself and them claimed he was hacked), that pretty much was the icing on the cake.

They didn't draft a WR and still cut Gaffney loose? Says a lot.

They didn't draft a receiver this year because they now have a log-jam there. They drafted three receivers last year.

Moss could be cut later on too.

They got Garcon and Josh Morgan. They really want HANKERSON to excel. Plus they have Anthony Armstrong. They probably think they are solid at that position now.

Garcon
Hankerson (they think he is a starter)
Morgan
Moss (?)- they are still looking for a slot guy (almost signed Eddie Royal in offseason)
Niles Paul - they really like him, moving him to TE
Aldrick Robinson/Banks competing for return duties, I think Robinson wins because he can play receiver too.
Austin - I could see them trading him (they tried to last year).
Armstrong - likely another cut, struggles against press coverage.

They want speed/youth/YAC

I think he should be invited to camp, I wouldnt mind him at the #3 spot if the young guys we have struggle.

He is a solid possession guy, but he is famous for turning a 10 yard catch into a 3 yard catch. One of the lowest YACs in the league.

He's a perpetual journeyman, gotta be a reason for it unless he's just his generation's Ricky Prohel.
