Yeah the lack of absolute dawgs with a nasty streak was the only thing that kept that team from reaching its full potential. They had all the talent they needed to get there.. but they simply didn't have enough crazy mofos to get it done. I always remember those guys when I played.. Guys who would come in punch at the ball after I was on the ground.. or who would get up talking smack after I had a 15 yard run.. I honestly didn't get it at the time but eventually I figured out that as silly as I thought it was for a guy who just gave up a 15-20 yard run to be in my face there was method to their madness. They were trying to get in my head. They wanted me looking out for them the next play.. They wanted me to be worried about them instead of doing what I needed to do.. It never worked on me.. mainly cause I was too dumb to even know what they were doing.. but there are plenty of guys who let that sort of thing affect their game.. including a bunch in the NFL..
