Brissett is one of my pet cats, I like how he avoids the sacks and can throw on the move. With the right development and talent around him I think he has a chance to be big. In college he didn't have a chance with the horrid o line. Definitely keeping my eye on him during the Senior Bowl.

thank you. Nor did he have a creditable receiver. It is like no one else thinks this guy is a legit possibility for us, especially as a developmental prospect. I love his potential.

Brissett no thank you

He will get rattled when the walls start to close in, dropping his eye level too early. He also needs to improve his 59.7 percent completions and show more consistent fundamentals

That tends to happen when the walls constantly are closing in. Have you actually seen him play? Teams constantly blitzed him because he basically was a one man team.

I don't know how much coaching is going to help Brisett. When he is forced to read a defense, he gets happy feet, drops his eyes and when he does throw, his accuracy is all over the place. As a mid-late round pick, I wouldn't mind, but nowhere before our 4th round comp picks.

I think Hogan perfectly matches the mold of a guy with all the physical ability, played in a pro-style offense and could be coached up.

nope he was not on my list

It would be easy to blame Brissett’s offensive line, which was an embarrassingly poor unit, but the signal caller must shoulder at least some fault due to his slow internal clock and still developing field vision.

Despite being in a spread offense designed to get the ball out at least semi-quickly, Brissett often held the rock for far too long, failing to hit hot reads when necessary and regularly altering the structure of the play. Sometimes it worked out and sometimes it didn’t, often resulting in Brissett taking several big hits or one of the 37 sacks he suffered on the year. He doesn’t have a great sense of when pressure is coming off the edge, which leaves his ball security in question as well. I don’t think I saw any quarterback in college football take as much of a beating as Brissett did this season, much of which was self-inflicted.

Asking Brissett to make throws down the field is dangerous however, as the quarterback has some of the worst deep ballJacoby Brissett accuracy in the draft. Overthrows, under-throws, out-of-bounds throws; they are all possible when Brissett goes vertical, as the quarterback simply struggles to find the range to hit receivers in stride.

I would not even pick him up as UDFA

I 'd rather have
Brandon Allen
Nate Sudfeld
Jake Rudock
Jeff Driskel

I like him over majority of the QBs in the draft... His offensive line wasn't all that good at NC State and his weapons weren't all that spectacular either.

If our scout like someone in the 1st round then take one (Goff, Lynch or Wenze). Take another one such as Brisett later in the draft if scouts feel like he's got potential as well.

No wrong with drafting two QBs to develop. I know it's dedicating a lot of resources but 4th round and later pretty much hit or miss anyway.

Worked out for Washington. Where would they be today if they didn't draft Cousins

I would just rather pick him up than someone else in the first because Goff will most likely be gone and I'm not a big fan of paxton lynch. I would be okay with Wentz though.

Id take him with a 5th comp pick or in the 6th but not worth our early 4th rounder.
