I feel that he won't fall to any of our 6 round picks, 4th round comp sounds okay to me, better than another lb

If there is any inclination that he could be our future QB then he would be well worth a 4th rounder.

As much as you love this guy I'm sure even you could admit he has a good amount of work to do before being deemed anyone's future at QB. He definitely has a nice skillset to work with, but he's just a projection at this point. If we do it right we can get a contributor on defense and ST in the 4th.

My entire infatuation with Brissett is based on my belief that he has more than enough potential to be our qb of the future. Is he ready to be that player this season? By no means, but that is the biggest part of his appeal not only can we afford give him time to acclimate his skills to the NFL level it is ideal for our situation. We have to take a QB in this draft. (which in itself is a gamble) Taking a chance on a QB with his potential in the 4th just evens out the risk vs reward factor. Besides every player drafted is drafted with the hopes that the player lives up to the potential seen that made him desirable in the first place. If I didn't think he had enough potential to be our future QB i wouldn't consider him worthy of being drafted at all.
