20 million for a guy with 1 career INT.

Now you know why they are the Texans.

A sad day for Dallas.

Reeves was one of the fastest players on the team.

Wish him a lot of luck.

He deserved a lot better than he got with us.

I am so sad...

Lets review the brilliant history of the Texans. They pick a QB #1 with their first pick and then wait 3 years before they make any serious effort to build an offensive line; in the meanwhile that QB is sacked almost 200 times and is ruined. It took them 5 years to even become respectable. With that in mind, $8 million guaranteed for a CB who every team targeted for an entire season and he only got one pick and the number of PLAYS he made can be counted on one hand= with fingers left over. NUFF SAID.

Good job, Jerry.

Nothing like developing talent, and then letting them go play somewhere else.

He lasted 2 days on the market.

So he lasted for 2 days, uneducateable, sounds like no one was all that desperate to sign him. And the team that did is not known for being all that smart.

Only because he knew he better take whatever they offered him because he wasn't going to find a bigger sucker than the Texans.

He still be an upgrade over Fagans and the street FA they shuffled in and out all game long.I am telling you I watched some Texans games here in Houston they are hurting bad in the secondary they need like 5 new players in the secondary type need.

Daunte injury was major it was so bad he may have to move to safety to save his career (they won't know until he steps on the field) in fact I doubt Dante steps on the field until at least Nov.

So, you wanted Jerry Jones to fork over +20 million to a third-string cornerback? The same third-string cornerback who, during the late stages of the second quarter, played a major role in the playoff loss to the Giants?

Get real Eduncan. Knowing Reeves' actual talent-level and the boatload of money which the Texans were throwing at him, Jones had little choice but to say adiós to your favorite speedster. It would have made zero short- or long-term salary cap sense for any NFL general manager, facing the same situation as Jones did, to have done otherwise.
