JJT posts under the username, theogt

Aha!

Now we are getting somewhere.
Another question I have is why does his face look so fat?
From the standpoint of obesity rampant in Dallas, could he not set a better example instead of ripping his pants all the time after the Chinese buffet near Harry Hines?

You have been unmasked tape!
Spill your guts from that fat face, Mr. Fat Face.

His user name should be JJTwit.

We're standardizing on JJTool. Don't confuse everybody.

JJT is a brilliant football mind, that's why he's a hack writer and not a football coach.. :lmao:

His prediction of 8-8 is almost as brilliant as the invention of the combustible engine.

Isnt this the crux of the reason there are alot of doubters here. Same old coaching staff where the team collapsed and laid down like dogs last game of year.

Like with Parcells, Campo, and Chan?

Our December collapses are a thing of legend.

It isn't just a Wade Phillips thing.

I know JJT is a member on this board, I just dont know his user name.

All I've got to say is that its a disgrace for him to pick us going 8-8 having the knowledge that he has about the team.

Unless, he is doing it for motivational purposes, to which I applaud him for.

JJT gives his opinion, they are not gospel just his opinion. I once saw an interview with him on FOX Southwest and was asked by a fan how can you write some of the things you do about the Cowboys and he said easy I'm not a fan I'm a writer for the DMN he is going to call it the way he sees it and while I don't always agree with some of the things he writes I understand there is a difference in being a reporter and being a fan.

Yeah, that's how he always responds to that criticism. I understand that, too. However, he still can be way off base at times, and just because he isn't a fan... that doesn't mean he sees things any more clearly than you or I.

He does get to talk directly to some of the players and coaches, and I'm sure that gives him some insight into locker room politics that you or I don't see. Still... that doesn't mean his prediction on the Cowboys '09 record is any better than anyone elses, or that he knows any better who will win the battle for backup guard or who will be the Cowboys nickel linebacker.

His opinions are just that... an opinion. The difference is that way more people read his take on things than they do the posters here.

IOW, I'm not going to call JJT names for his opinions... but I'm not going to put a whole lot of stock into what he writes, either.

I fully agree with you. I don't take what JJT says as the gospel, he is giving an opinion and calling it as he sees it. Sometime I agree with his assessment sometimes I don't I tend to treat most reports that way both positive and negative comments that are made about this team. As for how others view him I have no control over that so I tend not to care how his views are perceived by others. In the end the only true reality is the Cowboys themselves by going out and winning they can prove the critics wrong or they can prove them right

I think you should consider calling him names for his opinions. It's sort of fun.

I dont agree with every writer, but what I do i take what they all say, then i lump it together and go from there. One writer that I dont like though is ed werder, dont like him at all.

And i dont like rod woodson on nfl network, all others their ok, some i like more than others, but again, i just gather info and go from there after i digest what they say.

What I don't get is that he is spending all his time on ESPN and NFL channel and freely admits that he hasn't watched a practice in a while because it's too hot.

JJT--hey, it's your job, dude.

I didn't listen and really don't care to, but that doesn't surprise me. He barely watched them when he was a beat writer.
