Jags vs. Titans Game Thread

Ya but you also have a long stretch of mediocrity amoung those 2nd and 3rd rounders as well. For ever Murray or Bell or Johnson there is a Sankey, Pead, or Ball. HB stock is on the rebound, with more players getting realier looks then back when Bell and Lacy were 2nd rounders. There have been 5 HBs taken within the top 45 picks the last two draft, including 3 first rounders and 2 top picks. Next year there could be as many as 5 first round HBs, including one possibly in the top 3 picks. I wasnt in either of the Elliott or Ramsey camps during the draft as I felt neither was the best use of top 5 draft capital. However both players have more then merited there selections. Could we have gotten solid production out of a 3rd round pick at HB. Maybe. If you think its a slam dunk to get good production out of a non first round HB behind a dominant like, go put on tape of Derrick Lassic (4th) and Sherman Williams (2nd) behind Emmitts OL. Wasnt pretty

I'm doubting this. Despite the lackluster QBs, there will still be a team that drafts one high. It's a good draft for secondary players, an O-lineman will go high as always, and some of these defensive lineman will become priority.

I wouldn't be surprised if one RB goes top 5, Fournette is who you're talking about right? Fournette is probably the best RB prospect to come out of the draft in some time.

Did they just say the Jags have given up more yards in a half than any other team this year? LOL

He tweeted something childish after Dallas lost week 1 and Zeke didn't look very good.

That's not (Zeke not looking very good) what he tweeted about at all. He tweeted throwing shade at the Cowboys defense for getting run on by Bennie Cunningham.

Remember the Dez vs Murray wars?

Who would you keep?(I was in favor of Murray)

Who is better?

Dez is opening up things for Murray by drawing doubles.(laughable)

Like he's the best since Zeke was drafted.....man one whole year...

Zeke was a product of a weak draft. He would have been a first rounder for sure in other drafts, but let's not sit here an unusually weak first round draft didn't help his stock. Gurley, to many, was a better prospect than Zeke and went at 10.

If Gurley, Fournette and Elliott came out in the same draft, there's a good chance Elliott is the 3rd in that order.

The 2016 Draft was pretty meek in terms of top notch talent across the board and due to off-the-field circumstances (Tunsil) and injuries (Jaylon Smith).

Gurley was no where near the complete product that Zeke is. And weak draft? The top of this draft has been crazy good. You're really starting to sound ridiculous.

Oh I get it! CalPoly and mattjames are the same poster! Hilarious.
