Jaguars at Patriots: AFC Championship

People watching the Jags and are like.... Should we trade up for Ridley?!??

Absolutely .. The luckiest break a team can have .. and it went for over 15 years where they have 5 divisional wins guaranteed every year ... give them credit they did what they have to do, but I cannot think of a team having such advantage .. also the AFC in general has been poor this century

A la SF in the 80s 90s with NFC West.

Pats have zero answer for this Jags defense. These are the teams they have struggled with in the playoffs. Giants and Ravens. Broncos, too.

For sure, I definitely think they would have won a couple but not what they have.

Excellent play calling and execution by the Jaguars. Right now they're playing power football on both sides of the ball and keeping ball security. They have the defense to beat the Pats, but the offense was uncertain. So far so good for the latter. They ran plays from the same formation three different times and did three different things. That is how you scheme for unpredictability.
They mimic'd the plan Dallas had last year, it's working with a great defense. Remember, teams weren't drafting RBs high until we did it.

Marrone comes in and immediately has the Jags a contender. Yet we are about to be in year 8 with our clown coach and nothing but a measly wild card win.

You would think that Jerry would catch a hint while watching coaches with less years than Garrett being more successful in the playoffs but he won't

Yeah, i was talking to some friends about this...where in the heck has the rest of that division been over the past 15 years? that is absolutely pathetic to literally have no
competition...to be given like an automatic 5-6 games right off the bat with the rest of the league having to catch up....not the Patriots fault I get it, but it just really looks bad
overall.

The patriots refuse to run the ball. That has to change as well for them.

They're doing what Pittsburgh did, trying to beat the best pass defense in the league. The weakest part of the Jags has been their run defense, but when you fall down by double digits early panic sets in. Surprised to see the Pats fall into that trap, though.
