Looks like we lost to a good up and coming QB and heck of a coach in Doug Pederson.
Yeah, I knew at the time that Jacksonville was going to be a tough out. They are putting it together. Lots of high draft picks on that team.

I think it was still a bad loss for the Cowboys no matter how you look at it; Jerry might think that way because he will always look for a moral victory.

The Jags are doing what good football teams do: they are ascending into the post-season and show a resiliency, toughness and are well-coached. Dallas, as much as it pains me to say it, does not possess any of those traits.

9ers are freaking great.

NFC goes through Frisco.. and I don't mean the one near Dallas.
I believe he was referring to Joey not nick bosa

Don’t think he was saying the niners are bad

Crazy what happens to a team when you have a good QB.
Accuracy and mental toughness are a lethal combination. Being 6 foot 6" doesn't hurt either. I remember Romo saying he tweaked his throwing every year trying to get more accurate. That's pretty rare. Most QB's either have it or they don't by the time they start slinging a football.

So if Payton does go to LAC, and is handed a very good team that 500 coaches could coach. And takes them to a SB, are we going to still get threads for the next 10 years about it?

LAC roster is stacked, especially on defense, but they just never seem to do anything with it. A better coach probably can.
But don't rue over Payton. He has had no more success than MM.

Chargers coach will be gone shortly. There is too much talent on that club not to win more games.

There is an aspect to strength of opponent which seems to be overlooked a great deal. A team can have a rocky start, but then put their games together and start winning.
So you go into a game where you think you are playing a team which is on the downhill. Then you lose and this board goes ape crap. Five or six weeks later you realize that team was much better than you thought.

They started playing together as a team and winning. Your team may have been the first in a winning streak. Then you look back and see that team played people tough going into the game with your team.

Makes you wonder now why you lost your mind when Dallas lost the game.

It was a terrible loss to the Jaguars. Not being able to finish games when ahead late is a bad characteristic and it happened twice this season.

The refs were very generous to the Jags. Not only weren't they calling the false start penalties but they were not calling holding on Bosa all night either. I thought the refs gave the Jags a lot of help.
....Have to agree about the Bosa play.....Refs had a choice to make one of two calls on just that play. And it was an easy false start to see. Seem to have if out for Bosa after his first penalty.

The Chargers are the Cowboys of the AFC! This is what a stud QB brings to the table and it’s only year 2 For him!

It’s win the Super Bowl or busts for the Cowboys. Nobody cares about the opponent. San Francisco was way better then us last season but Dak sucks and MM can’t coach was the narrative. The Chargers coach and Joey Bosa will get the blame for that loss unfortunately.

doesn't matter. no moral victories. we should have won that game multiple times over. its as if we pulled defeat from jaws of victory. stupid interceptions. then in the end, regardless, you have a chance (just like Jags did after 4 interceptions) and the coach had a brain fart and then in over time Brown thought he was playing a volleyball game....just a comedy of errors. do that, get a win and we are at home resting players getting ready for a home game.

The missed FG and then some squirrelly calls by Staley late killed them.

The Jags are clearly an up and coming team. Their defense can be awfully good at times. I am impressed with their DL. But the Chargers, who I picked to go to the Super Bowl this year, are banged up and were missing some key players. Their LT, Slater, for example. And their other big receiver, Mike Williams. The Jags were double teaming Keenan Allen most of the night which they would not be able to do if Williams was playing. I have no doubt with those two players in the game the Chargers would have won. But at the end of the year, the healthiest teams win.

He already won his first playoff game. Wow. He surpassed Dak's legacy in one season. ;)

I'm kidding. Don't kill me!
