I understand that and I'm sure they're going to address it maybe not two hours into free agency and maybe not paying Lewis $10 million but they're gonna address it somehow they do have too many corners that got hurt coming back Diggs is a question mark I realize in Butler is a question mark so yeah maybe they address it and get we get shocked and surprised it's our first round pick which would be a total shock but it wouldn't be a surprise if it's a day 1 STARTER OR it is very possible they have a short list of journeyman veterans out there they're going to cover the position whether it's outside or inside This is why people shouldn't overreact 2 hours into free agency, but I knew it was coming, I should've known , and now I have tired head and have to step away.....Butler is a very good option but he's trying to come back from a torn ACL. Could begin the season on PUP.
This guy is so unbelievably triggered in this threadI like how you guys make the assumptions on the negative like you know what we offer him or if we made an offer at all how do you know we didn't offer him 8 how do you know you guys act like you're supposed to be like kept in the loop somehow like this team front office owes you something they don't you don't know what went on back there but they got a lot of other guys to pay and guys to bring in this happens to all teams they lose players they have to find players to fill in holes I mean have you seen the list of free agents that they all come from the Cowboys I mean are we the only team that lost the player to free agency trade and this is only just begun but those lists are humongous right now full of free agents they didn't all come from the Dallas Cowboys... Apparently we like our guys is a problem and when we don't like our guys it's also a problem so there's no way for the front office to win around here how about you give it more than two hours Jesus Louise free agency literally just started and we lost a player and everyone's already got the pitchforks and the torches all out lined up and it says, JUST UGHHH!!![]()

That Yacht fuel is expensive !Sadly if you make it to free agency without a deal you are probably gone. Broaddus was right this looks like a second purge. What I don’t understand is what do they plan to do with the 60 million in cap space.![]()
Next seasonThis draft?
Lol Jerry really fooled most of you fans. Thanks Dak
Ask yourself one question - does it help resign current players and spend freely in free agency if an average NFL quarterback is paid $60 million a season on a 4 year contract (having just seen the league MVP sign for $55 million a year on a 6 year contract)?Lol Jerry really fooled most of you fans.
So dak is the only qb on a 4 year deal? Again. Jerry trained yall well. Enjoy your middling free agents buddyAsk yourself one question - does it help resign current players and spend freely in free agency if an average NFL quarterback is paid $60 million a season on a 4 year contract (having just seen the league MVP sign for $55 million a year on a 6 year contract)?
I will assist - the answer is no.
Front office are unable to move on from average players and Dak got a short 4 year contract so he can maximise the open market. The likes of Mahomes, Hurts, Allen etc sign long term deals and work with the team.
Yep the only quarterback being paid $60 million a year over four years. So dak is the only qb on a 4 year deal? Again. Jerry trained yall well. Enjoy your middling free agents buddy
So the difference in pay is why we've signed nobody? AGAIN Jerry loves youYep the only quarterback being paid $60 million a year over four years.
yeah, this is a bummer. between losing him, al harris, and ceedee and blands injury histories, things got bleak fairly quickly. That's too bad, my appreciation for the player has grown every year. Good luck JLew.
this just isn't reality.Ask yourself one question - does it help resign current players and spend freely in free agency if an average NFL quarterback is paid $60 million a season on a 4 year contract (having just seen the league MVP sign for $55 million a year on a 6 year contract)?
