Hamilton hasn't been signed off the practice squad to the active roster YET. However, he was taken off the scout team this morning and practiced with the special teams unit. That's a good indication he'll be added to the 53 man roster soon.

Well he was a good player at Georgia, if he was promoted good for him, I know we really like him when he came in.

Hamilton was taken off the scout team this morning (per Dallas Cowboys.com) and was working with the "ones" on special teams. But I wonder what the "Pending Durant's health" is all about. Is Durant going on IR? Will there be two open roster spots; since Hamilton would take Will Allen's? I'm confused.

probably means if he is healthy enough, Durant is going to play those ST snaps.

we are one draft focused solely on the dline away from having a very youthful defense.

Hopefully that will be next April. Not sure we have much choice even with Crawford and Bass returning.

I like Hamilton.. We had a 4th round grade on him and most likely would have drafted him instead of BW Webb had we not taken Wilcox in the 3rd. He is aggressive and athletic and at this point will be a special teams guy.. Like the move.. Go young where you can.

They want to look at the young safeties. Interesting to see if it's in place of Wilcox or Church. Probably Wilcox since Church knows the defense better but who knows. Don't think they would put Wilcox and Heath or Hamilton out there at the same time.
