Jalen Cropper Elevated

This makes sense to me. Turpin is going to get more play now, with Lamb out. We need another Turpin-like player for when he gets tired. Brooks, Tolbert, Flournoy are all essentially the same type of receiver
This is right. Holden and Flournoy very similar. Cropper has another dynamic to his game. Closer to Turpin.

I just hope he’s targeted . Pickens will get plenty of attention from GB that leaves Turpin as a downfield threat . Need another option hope Cropper is up for it .
If I were calling offense this game, I'd start Pickens, Flournoy, Cropper and rotate in Turpin to keep him fresh.

I don't think they want to hurt Turpin, so I think Cropper plays.
.I suspect a Turpin run right at Little Michael.

I liked Tolbert before we drafted him, but I'm over him.

My only knock on Cropper is he needed more muscle than he has added thus far. That was a big part of what I wanted to see development-wise.

I honestly don't expect anything huge just yet. But it's good to see them playing him. You can do a lot more with a player like him out there.

Something like that. Mingo is ready soon. Then we will be getting Overshown, Winfrey, Beebe, Lamb, and Booker. Did I leave anybody out? We will also be getting some fresh legs in the backfield soon.
Man, these players really are some of our most key guys..

Not even the same team without them.

Even I'm surprised, but it probably has to do with Brooks being on IR. I didn't know that.

Hope they play him some. I'll be at work, hopefully watching the Cowboys.
It will be interesting to see what happens.

Yeah, this game could go any way. I probably won't be surprised no matter what happens. They could blow us out, we could blow them out.

This game depends on their ability to adjust and correct what happened last week.

Can Cropper play on defense...He might be better than the DBs were last week...

Houston inactive makes zero sense . He’s been the most consistent edge pressure they have and badly needed against Love & co . Cropper over Brooks not sure about that either .
I don’t disagree on Houston, just felt like with Clowney now up that was too many people active on the defensive line, and for whatever reason Houston is playing the least amount of snaps. Maybe they pull from another position instead and go deep on there.

Man, I still think they should look at Houston at LB.

They did go 10 deep on the defensive line! Wow, definitely had that one wrong.

Also season debut for Shemar James, with Damone Clark the surprise healthy scratch. Glad to see they're mixing it up there, I assume this means a LOT more playing time for Liufau.

Semi surprised it's Cropper over Jalen Brooks, but maybe that has to do with the specific route package they're hoping to replace with CeeDee out or that Cropper is more suited to play in the slot where CeeDee is vacating a lot of snaps. Either way, excited to see what he can bring to the table if anything.

Also, they didn't elevate Robert Rochell, meaning we'll have one less CB active this week vs. last week. They could go super deep on the d-line with Clowney now up, but my gut says Houston will be inactive and we'll see Jaydon Blue active for the first time tomorrow night.

You know they don't do this stuff lightly right I mean they say guys in practice with consistency they're earning snaps apparently Brooks a few couple games he's played they're not impressed so they're moving on to the next guy but mostly because special teams and backup returner so don't say holden, because everyone thinks holden should play, but he doesn't play those positions..

It's not a big difference between an outside linebacker who also rushes the passer and what you're asking him to do I think he should play more at defensive end the opposite of clowning I really think you should this man has got a motor unlike other plus you can rotate more but I think you put James Houston and Clowney to start the damn game you want to switch stuff up that's how you do it you tell the people that been in front of him that you didn't earn it so you're moving to Next up instead of 1st string..
