Lamb was covered so it's understandable why he checked down to Cooks underneath.
Lamb wasn't covered as Warner explains.

You can't cite him as an expert and then pick and choose what he said. He very clearly explains why the throw needed to be to Lamb.

Lamb opened up slightly late in his route. Dak was inside his own 10 yard line with the pressure coming fast, so he had to get rid of the ball quickly. When Dak noticed Lamb covered early, he quickly checked down underneath to Cooks. Very easy to understand.

I will literally quote Warner:

"............... this guy [CB covering Cooks] already committed to this route......... there is your corner route [Lamb], there is nobody else out there............... that's why we run this, trying to pull down everything else out by the numbers [CB covering Cooks].............. there is nothing else there but CeeDee Lamb, that to me is the throw right there............"

He discusses some of the issues that can happen on that play, such as the changing the break patterns which would have had the corner route breaking a split second sooner but he's said the throw to be made there was to Lamb. And it's a classic corner route, where you throw to a spot as the WR will break. The CB is inside so once Lamb breaks outside, he's going to be open. To say he doesn't have enough time to make that throw is just erroneous. All he has to do is throw it to a spot and Lamb is open. The fact Cooks ran a bad route doesn't suddenly change the reality that the Lamb throw was there. That play had multiple issues - Dak should have made the Lamb throw, Cooks' route was lazy, the design may have had some issues. But to say it was not Dak's fault at all and then saying Warner confirms that is a misrepresentation of what Warner said on that one interception. It just is.

Again, you can't cite Warner's analysis and then literally say something different than what he says in the video.
Your wasting your time, you are about to be called a hater with an agenda, told to go follow another team, that you must have sucked at football if you even played. You can’t stop his 24/7 defense of all things Dak.

Possibly but he's gaslighted this board for months with this analysis claiming that Warner puts no blame on Dak when in fact, that's simply not accurate.

You throw the ball to Lamb there anyway, as Warner pointed out. CD is one of the best receivers in the league and does well with contested balls. You give your best player a chance to make the play. More often than not, CD wins. Hurts does it with AJ Brown all the time. Granted, Brown is probably the best at getting contested balls (stats show this), and is awfully strong for a WR, but CD can more than hold his own against any DB covering him. Good QB's aren't afraid to let their best WR/TE go for those throws. Feed CD!

Being inside his 10 yard line, Dak went the safe route underneath to Cooks. Too bad Cooks ran a sloppy route, plus was unable to hold his own against the DB covering him. Also was held. Refs helped out GB by not throwing the flag.
