I'm not sure Tolbert ever reaches the point of 1100 yard receiver Gallup but I think he has more than enough juice to surpass gimpy 400 yard/ 2TD Gallup.
Easily. Gallup averaged 24.6 yards per game last year.

Tolbert seems to be progressing nicely and hope for that 3rd year breakout. Turpin I really don’t get, he’s ok but…

22 rec for 268 yards and people in here think this guy is a legitimate candidate for a #3 WR position. No wonder Jerry Jones takes us for idiots.

Yep.. If he just averages 3 catches a game at his current rate of 12.5 yards per catch he will blow right past what Gallup gave us the last two years. Love the kid but I just fully came back from the injury. Wish him the best in Oakland.. Who is their QB this year?

I just hope we have an all-out competition for WR3 because I don't consider relying on Tolbert anything but Santa Claus type hope.

Our skill positions have atrophied. We have one solid TE, our 3rd WR shouldn't be on the field and our RB room is a disgrace.

But sadly we have a front office that thinks they're stacked.

If CeeDee and Cooks do their job we will be fine at WR this year. I think Tolbert and Turpin will have expanded roles and if we need to add another WR into the 3-4-5 mix it won't be a problem finding one. am also looking forward to seeing Flournoy in camp, not that I expect anything from him this year but I did like the pick.
One of those two get hurt, it's over

They’re gonna roll their sleeves up and get to work any minute Risen. Talent acquisition is a 365 day a year proposition. The off seasons not over. There’s still guys out there we like……

Yada…..yada……yada……

As much as you say they were utilized more I don't think they were utilized enough, and I think Turpin should be used more in the slot and get less snaps at STs and I want to add in Vaughn to take his ST snaps and used more behind the line of scrimmage type of plays lots of stretch and motion and some targets ie last years Turpin... They need to truly watch san Francisco's offense and try to utilize all that talent that's just sitting on the bench most of the time with packages I don't think they did that enough last year they didn't even use the running backs correctly hey I'm just some Joe behind a computer but I'm telling you they made lots of mistakes and who they used and when they used them especially at running back but I don't wanna see that happen with the wide receivers this year...
