Could be #4’s mental state in big games is because he knows they can’t run the ball and the defense can’t stop the run. If I was a QB in those conditions, I’d be freaked too. But no, you put all the blame on Dak. So naive.
Those situations are the daily problem of a QB. He has to be prepared for that. Thats why you train: you think about problematic situations and then go over them in training or mentally until they become common to you and you can make the right decissions without thinking about it. You dont train things extensivly where you are good at. You train to become better at your weaknessess.

The way he approaches training and the position itself is to train himself for that situations. I guess, maybe, just maybe, being caught up in the production of commercials or giving meaningless interviews is a reason the guy looks horrible when thrown in those situations. And of course the immense lack of talent, but that is nothing new to us.

If he does not do that then of course he will look confused and freak out. And of course it will be a problem too if you lack the talent. Then you can train as much as you want, you wontbe able to replicate. The latter imo is the reason for daks permanent failures.

You’ve heard it here again my fellow Cowboys fans. Don’t need a running game to win in the NFL and I suppose you don’t need to stop the run either Blankshooter?
I missed this post. Why do you taunt other posters and then become flaccid and play the victim when they clap back? "I wish you were either hot or cold...but since you are lukewarm ("I quit!!! I am leaving the board!!!! WWWAAAAHHHH!!!!) ...I am going to SPIT YOU OUT."

I am cool with using nicknames and rough and tumble conversations...but I am not cool with someone that throws rocks, hides their hands and then runs to the mods like a whole female dog. Consider this my fair warning to you to stay in your whiny lane where you get protection from the mods or come out in the open like a man without running to the mods WHEN I'M REPLYING TO ANOTHER POSTER.

And yes...you don't 'NEED' a running game. The draft, the playoffs and the SB all show that you don't need it IF YOU HAVE AN ELITE QB. Our QB is not elite when it matters. Now go cry and quit somewhere.

I do think Dak worked really hard to become a QB. People sniff at this, but Tom Brady did too. He had to remake his body and arm...but the difference is that Tom Brady started that process in college and was ALWAYS honing his passing skills. Whereas Dak saw himself as Tim Tebow...and spent as much time practicing ball fakes/handling so he could run...but guess what? Now that he CAN'T run as much - or when he wants to like when he had a strong running game - his passing skill deficiencies are exposed. He's made far more PHYSICAL progress than I thought possible...kudos to Dak...but that talent part looms. This is the NFL...the best of the best. And while he may be able to beat a Kirk Cousins on a good day...that's nothing when compared to Josh Allen. That's like 2 levels up...and Dak can't get there. "Too late to begin the training..."

Dak saw himself as Tim Tebow? What are you talking about lol. And I think Josh Allen is better than Dak personally, but didn't you say more with less a few posts back? Have you seen Allen's numbers without Diggs? It ain't pretty, and sure isn't more, or 2 levels up. Dak has worked on his passing game his entire career and it's paid pretty remarkable dividends considering he was a bus driver early in his career and leading the league in td's in year 8.

You guys are funny. You seek these type of posts and watch these videos and complain.
I think these "Dak and I have been working together and blah, blah, blah" have become humorous and worthless....wake me up when Dak is gone, and Brooks is given a fair shot at WR.

Why would you even enter this thread if you feel that way lol? It just doesn't make sense.

I understand your Point but how is this different from a critical Dak thread with video and some people complaing?

Works both ways, nephew.

The one thing they both have in common is that nobody's mind changes and it's usually boring as crap

I’d say the same thing to them too. If you enter a thread regardless of the athlete and complain about seeing something you claim to hate? I’m gonna look at you crazy. It’s so simple to simply not enter a thread I do it all the time.

Dak played great against Philly, good against Miami and good against Detroit in December.
good against Miami? Are you serious? Philly the defense had given up 1000 yards the previous 2 games and was obviously done for the year. Even then, Dak needed a 60 yard intergalactic field goal to make it 10-0...after the D got a fumble.

So no...I don't consider that elite. He didn't play poorly, but we didn't need him to play great for that game. When Dak needs to compete with the opposing QB, he folds. See Jordan Love.

QB's don't play against QB's, but go ahead and keep thinking they do.
