Tolbert looks like a keeper. He seems to be putting together games and practices. That is what I like to see. Same thing I see with Overshown. Great game and practice players.
Saw Overshown got knocked out with an injury last night: any word yet how serious guys?

Those announcers don't know what a great catch is. That catch was nothing special. But whatever. It's nice seeing him make the catches he should make.
It was a horrible throw which he adjusted to while being blanketed by the corner. Obviously it's not one of the greatest catch, but it's a good one.

Ok, ok, starters in a game that matters.
Not doubting him, just waiting to anoint.
Seems like there is always one WR each preseason declared the best. Some work out, some don't.

At least we know if Dak goes out, Cooper has some chemistry with one of these guys.

Proud to see the young man though work back. He had a disappointing rookie season and obviously put a lot of work into the offseason to get to where he needs to be.

I said all offseason is was too early to write the kid off. He came from a tiny school to Big D for crying out loud. Back in the day a WR took sometimes a couple of years to develop. Now everyone has to be instant gratification.

That looked to be an improvised throw from the QB. It looked to me like they were trying to go deep but Jalen didn't get the separation he wanted and the QB recognized that so he threw it where only Jalen could catch it. Jalen recognized that too and turned and looked to see where the ball was and made a great adjustment. That was a great play by both the QB and the WR. So yes, IMO, that was great catch.

While they may have a nascent football program, USA has more students than Notre Dame...

Lots of big-time athletes came from this area: Hank Aaron, Willie McCovey, Jake Peavey, Josh Donaldson, DeMarcus Cousins, Nick Fairly, CJ Mosely, Willie Anderson, Robert Brazille, Leon Lett .....

Clark looks good too. I also think that Deuce and Schoonmaker are going to be good.. Number 30 looks outstanding on defense.

Easily the best preseason player so far.........
In fact, I'd have no problem now trading Michael Gallup for some Oline help ....just me though

Trading Gallup would be stupid right now, especially since we're apparently trying to win this year.

The only time Gallup wasn't a damn good receiver for us was last year, and he returned early from an ACL. Still my favorite player on the team. When it comes time, maybe next year, I think the solution would be to restructure him, not trade him. He's still relatively young.

We have a lot of receivers. I'm afraid that maybe this year we only keep 3 TEs, and they all end up suiting up. I was also impressed with our TEs. They weren't perfect, but definitely good enough.

Tolbert reminds me of second year Cee Dee. He runs all the patterns and can play all the receivers spots.
