Last year Simi Fehoko got all the preseason praise.
Honestly, I think he's on the bubble.......there was some talk of getting him some TE snaps at training camp last season and his name has barely come up this one. Even with all the issues we had at WR last they didn't trust him.

Easily the best preseason player so far.........
In fact, I'd have no problem now trading Michael Gallup for some Oline help ....just me though

Kid has defintitely works his butt off. He went from looking like a bad pick last year to making gallup looking expendable by the end of the year.

No hate on him. Last year Simi Fehoko got all the preseason praise. Let's just wait on hope it translates to the regular season. I hope it does, as it will bode well for everybody on gameday.
Fehoko has never looked as good in preseason as Tolbert is looking this year. And I like Fehoko. He's big and fast but simply shows questionable hands and not much wiggle in his routes or with the ball in his hands.

Don't disagree at all on the comparisons RonnieT24......but can we agree, on this board last year, Fehoko was highly praised during last year's preseason? I'm hoping Tolbert's play translates to the regular season, but until we see it, .....well you know the rest.

Ironically the most hyped WR out of camp last year was Dennis Houston. And that guy will be hard pressed to avoid the practice squad. But yeah I do remember some folks being high on Simi last year. I just wasn't one of them. He's just not a very fluid athlete compared to some of the other guys. And his hands have shown to be below average for an NFL receiver IMHO. He may become another example of looking good being the biggest and fastest on the college level not being able to adapt to no longer being the biggest and fastest in the pros.

How about Drummond? Where does he fit?
He looked good too imo.
The only thing is going by the past ,with cowboys you have to look great in PS to actually change your status with the coaches.
tolbert was drafted so he has a edge, drummond I am not sure how he got here, so maybe hard for him to look good enough.

Even duece, they play him late in games and not many snaps, so no telling what his status is.
I think he makes the team, but may not be used as much as some here want.
