Every year, the Longhorn fans on the board promote their guys. The biggest debate I remember was the Quentin Jammer-Roy Williams battle in 2002.

Doomsday101;1962208 said:I went with Roy Williams yet I'm a diehard Texas Fan and can't stand OU but watching both players in Jammer and Williams I was glad we took Williams. As I mentioned in my post I may be a Texas Longhorn fan but I do take off the burnt orange glasses when it comes to the Cowboys and the players we draft. Even more recently I was not one who was interested in Aaron Ross. Only reason I have high regards for Charles is because I think the has some very good talent. I also like many of the other RB in the draft class and would be happy with any of the top RB’s
TheCount;1962220 said:I'm also a UT fan that prides myself on being able to view things objectively, but I definitely would have loved having Aaron Ross on our team and was upset he went to a division rival of all places. I think he'll make a find NFL corner.
How's that possible when he was draft before we picked ???rlgiv;1962206 said:WE probably would have been better of with Jammer looking back.
Simple, anyone is better than Roy.joseephuss;1962213 said:Why? Jammer has not been very good.
hendog;1961949 said:Well actually he's 6'2 236lbs.
DallasCowboys.com has our top 3 ILB listed at
Bradie James 6'2 239
Akin Ayodele 6'2 240
Kevin Burnette 6'3 227
So to answer your ? I'd plug him into AA's spot and watch a LB that can cover and tackle. What do you think we'd do with him - Genius.

Instead of Carpenter Dallas would have been better with Mario Williams too.

Obviously you're trying to get a rise out of Longhorn fans. Nice try, but nobody will believe you're this stupid.GimmeTheBall!;1961565 said:His speed won't stand out much int he NFL. The combine and draft will be loaded with speedsters.
Now give me a speedster who knows how to hit the hole, learn a new system, not fumble when hit by the finest players in the world and can pick up blitzes and blocks and we'll be rolling.
Charles' problem is motivation. In lesser games against also-rans he was notorious for mailiing it in. At big games when the network cameras were out he was Mr. Maximus Overachiever.
And he always kept talking about how he had to show the scouts this and that in the big games.
He's just another overrated back from a premier school. Speedy, yeah, but with little else.
6th round may be too harsh.
5th round, then. And only as a look-see and definitely not to replace either MB or JJ or whichever RB we draft before then.
Agreeing with an aggie is ********.Thehoofbite;1961950 said:Well, you just got me to not want him. Almost ********. Literally, just a few points from being handicapped.
jdub2k4;1960041 said:Johnson ran a 10.62 in the 100-meter, while Charles ran a 10.23 as a freshman and won the Big-12 title...thats Terrance Newman-type speed, folks.

IndianaCowboyFan;1962735 said:10.23 as a freshman is almost world class speed. He would be an interesting pick in the 2nd or 3rd. He needs to learn to speak english but his 100 meter time is most likely much faster than Glenn's. If he could do some duty as a WR and punt or kick returner he might be a very good pickup.
rlgiv;1963107 said:I'm not sure if he is running at the combine or only at the Texas workout but his stock will go up after more people have a chance to see his film and he runs his forty.
He supposedly ran in the 4.2 range in high school.
