A "franchise QB" is a quarterback that gives you a legit shot at the playoffs and superbowl every year. Tony Romo is that guy. Jamarcus is not that QB.

It's way too early to be calling him a bust. Put me in the minority, but I think the kid is going to be really good. He really showed me something at the end of last year.

Can you say "late round fantasy sleeper"? :)

I totally disagree with that... Jamarcus sucks hard core and I don't think he'll be but a shade better than Ryan Leaf, if ever. He has shown jack squat so far. Remember that Leaf had all the physical tools and still had a #1 defense, and a franchise top 3 RB talent behind him, and he could only lead in interceptions and 5-11 seasons. Jamarcus plays in NFL purgatory though which is even worse.

That game day picture of JeMeaty is some serious photoshopping.

It's some bad Photoshopping.
Look at his left arm and the warped M on the banner behind him.

Don't know how fat the guy is, but that image has been messed with.

Do you remember what this football team looked like before Tony Romo?

Tony Romo provided a spark for this team. I always feel like we're in the game with him, and its encouraging to see how well he runs the 2 minute drill. We tend to magnify his shortcomings and forget about all the games he's won for us.

QBs don't grow on trees. You put Romo in a lot of these other systems with good coaching, solid pass protection, and receivers that actually know how to get separation and hold on to the football - and he will win playoff games.

Its a shame his supporting cast has been holding him back. That Seattle bobble was a fluke, he still lput his team in a position to win. The Giants game, he made all the throws. Hit Crayton in the hands for 6. Threw a perfect pass to Crayton in the endzone. He has made all the throws to be a playoff winning QB.

This should cheer you up.

Absolutely fake - you can see the artifacting. However, in the interest of my joke... if you need to bring him down, just drop some Tic Tacs on the ground...

You know you guys are quick to label him a bust after two years, but no one seems to address the fact that he has a positive TD/INT ratio, and at the end of last season he really started to come on strong throwing for 200+ yards/multiple tds per game. Raiders fans seem to have something to be excited about if JaMarcus's last few games are any indication of what he can become. I think he has a lot of potential despite having .02 seconds every snap to get rid of the ball before he gets demolished by the passrush. His offensive line is a joke, and Al refuses to ever address it.

He was sacked 31 times last year and he has only put the ball on the ground once.

He was better late last season but then that happens a lot= a team will get hot late in the season or a player will get hot and people think it will continue. Most of the time it does not. His stats were not all that but they were a lot better then he had been doing so it looked good.
