Agreed, but also encouraged to see he's only 28 if we did get him. I thought he was older. They are rebuilding and Conner is getting older
Good post! I'd be shocked if they don't release him. Just like Gallup, no one is trading for that contract.Just review his contract.......to be honest, with an $8M+ cap hit, they may release him

Really good point. If we wouldn’t pay Zach Moss $4m, what makes you think we’d give up a draft pick for a guy who makes more?
This would make PERFECT SENSE FOR US - which is why we won’t do it.That is a great idea. I appreciate ideas like this. He runs really hard, catches well, physical and great in the red zone. I would love this idea.
Gallup is a bigger financial commitment vs Conner who's got 1 year left. If the Cardinals traded him they would eat the 3 million in dead money so actual cost to the Cowboys would be about 5.9 million for the season. He's better/more accomplished than Zack Moss who got 4 million so I don't think his contract is that crazy. On the open market he likely signs somewhere between 5 and 7 million anyway.Good post! It would make more sense to draft a rb and have him 4 years cheaply.Gallup is a bigger financial commitment vs Conner who's got 1 year left.
