Hanna is 6'4" and speed is 4.40 4.50 in the 40 cant remember exactly. But the guy is BIG and FAST. He makes catches and drops catches. But that can be fixed right? What do you guys think about him?

i think he has potential. He needs to catch a 1000 balls a day, get bigger in the weight room, and play more physical IMO.

I got to thinking when people started to talk about him. If the guy can shape up like you said with catching and getting bigger could he be the next Hernandez? Hernandez is a Monster. I wish we had drafted that guy!

Braoddus wast overly impressed with his hands in OTAs

Once the ball is in his hands he can be a weapon. Getting the ball in his hands is the task of the coaches to teach.

He is my top pick from this draft to not make the team or at least never make an impact with this team.

Your right. I hope we can get a diamond

Maybe. A lot of drops are the result of poor concentration. In fact, I think one writer pointed out on Hanna that he was making the harder catches and dropping the easier ones.

Over time that should improve, but it could take a few seasons ... and some players never really get to the point that they understand that making the catch is more important than what you do after the catch.

I think i read the same article maybe? But they talked about the hard catches he makes and the simple ones he lets go. Thanks for the replies everyone.

I just wanna say thanks to you for all the charts you post. They are much appreciated and I hope everyone appreciates the time and effort you put into them. Thanks and keep up the good work friend.

Hanna needs to learn how to catch the ball, how to run routes, learn what routes he's supposed to run, learn how to be a professional football player and all that encompasses, finish growing up, and learn how to block. Getting stronger and bigger will be his easiest task.

Was TO's drops problem ever fixed?
Or Marty B's?

I will piggy back this. He has become one of my absolute favorite posters because of those.

+1

I read, and often re-read, xwalker's various info infused spreadsheets and I can well appreciate the time and effort that is obviously put into them, whether I happen to comment on any particular one or not. Appreciate them all, x.

Thank you. :)

Like him or not, Owens is a HOFer. While he may not have fly paper hands, he is still one of the best WRs of all time. Bad comparison.

T.O was a beast though. Look at some highlight footage! And he was a very unique player in the NFL.

I think he can help us this year cause of the miss matches against linebackers, but he can help us more and it sucks to say it but i think he will help more next year if he adds 15-20 pounds watch out, for him and Witt, I think he'll be our future at TE.

If I am Jason Garrett, for the first 2 weeks of training camp, I put James Hanna on the sleds and running bands for the first half of practice, then have him on the jugs for the second half.

This is the type of person that you groom. I do not expect him to become a factor for at least the first half of the season. He's got a much better chance to make an impact next year.

I do LOVE his potential. He's basically a 6'4" 254lb WR with 4.4 speed. He just needs to work on his hands and blocking.

and more juggs.........and I DON'T mean the female variety hannah.........as a previous poster said: catch a thousand a day big man.
