But 12 days?

I've always been skeptical of the times that come out of pro days and having a vertical 6 inches greater then what he had less then 2 weeks ago does nothing but reinforce that.

Assuming he'd been working out in preparation for the combine like any other prospect, I don't see how doing ANYTHING would increase a vertical by 6''.

The guy should be in as good of shape as possible.

You make it sound like they do these workouts behind a tarp and just have someone explain to the scouts what the numbers were through the curtains.

You think NFL scouts come to these things just begging to be duped? Hell, they bring their own tapes to measure the 40 yards, you think they let these guys use a trampoline?

he's got a sackful of pride

a beam of confidence

I heard recently that whole company got shut down for fraud, so Bob has a sack full of lawyer fees right now.

Wow, he went from a 31.5 to 37? He's got some "ups" as we would say.

It really won't matter how high he jump, unless he is a receiver who catches the ball at "the highest point" on jump balls and is aggressive in attacking balls thrown his way. This is a skill you have or don't. It can't be taught. If he doesn't "attack" the ball........I'll pass

How's 16TD's last season sound for attacking the ball? How's averaging 12 TD's a season over 3 years sound? 14 Yards per catch? 0 Fumbles?

The kid has game, and limitless potential with the right club. Luckily, we've got a young gunslinger at QB and an owner that knows how to turn a great QB, WR, RB combo into something special.

I think he would be perfect for Big D.

and the 6-foot-7 receiver seemed to perform well

Why does EVERYONE of these REPORTERS screw up the SIMPLEST Things?
They get PAID for this and can't do the MINIMAL research?
He was 6'-5 and 3/4 at the combine (not exact on the 3/4 since I don't get paid and don't wanna research that part EXACTLY since I know he was listed UNDER 6'-6 and the 3/4 part is irrelevant) and they have him listed at 6'-7?????
I know we need a C.B. and a R.B.!
BUT if Malcolm Kelly is there at #22 and Hardy is there at #28, I'd take BOTH!
We'd give Romo a HUGE Pair of targets for his career and we'd have MASSIVE mismatches on defenses also.
That would certainly add some WOW to our offense!
We could add a corner in round 2 and 4 and add a R.B. in round 3!

I really don't think Kelly is that once in a lifetime type of receiver a lot of people seem to think he is. If he had come out last year, he would have been a late 1st to late 2nd round pick.

I don't really see the big deal. We are only talking about 1 1/4 inches, surely you know that it's not that big of a deal.

There's really not much to not like about him.

Thought I heard that he had a personality similar to former Cowboy WR AB.

It could have been idle message board chatter, though.

Maybe he treasures every inch he's got.
