When you're a fan of all 3 of those teams I cannot take you seriously because it screams "casual" to me.

Stereotypical Cowboys/Lakers/Yankees fans are not real "fans".

They are the ones that make real Cowboys fans look like jokes.

They're casuals that choose their teams because they're popular, every year is "their year", and usually have no idea about any of the players except the popular ones.

How would you know he's a stereotypical fan that picked a popular team? I ask because he was born and raised in Terrell, Texas, so he's local and would likely have grown up being a Cowboys fan. Have you had extensive conversations with him and know the extent of his knowledge of the team or are you just omniscient?
