The half fan stuff is one of my pet peeves. Like how can say you are a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers and then claim you are a "bigger" fan of the Cowboys than someone who only follows Dallas .It's like two people sitting side-by-side. One person has a cake placed in front of them with frosting that reads, "Dallas Cowboys Cake". The other person has a cake that says "Dallas Cowboys & San Francisco 49ers Cake".
Both devour their cake (they are very hungry). One guy says to the other, "My Dallas Cowboys cake was delicious." The other guy replies, "My Dallas Cowboys cake was delicious too." Then it becomes a back-and-forth:
But yours said Cowboys & 49ers.
Yeah. So what?
You didn't say you had eaten a Cowboys & 49ers cake.
I don't get the distinction.
What did your cake say on top?
"Cowboys & 49ers Cake."
Do you see the distinction now?
Nope.
Whatever. Enough about my nonsense. I did not read the entire thread but see the same-old fanship of certain non-NFL teams nonsense has taken root yet again. So! Did anyone post the geography test analogy yet? You know. It's the one where GPS is required to be a fan of a team that is full of more logical fallacy holes than swiss cheese. I always love those.
