Jamize Robert Olawale was signed as a UFA back in 2012 and eventually released. Amazing that he was a WR converted to FB, glad the Cowboys got him back last year. He is solid as a FB who excels as an excellent blocker. He was the key blitz blocker on the Amare TD, and was the lone RB on that formation. Also had the teams trust enough that a long pass was thrown his way on the wheel route which Dak short armed on the pass. Really reminds me of the SB years with Daryl Johnston being a key player but was never mentioned as part of the key quartet, instead its always the triplets with Aikman, Irving and Emmitt.

I hoped to see them use Olawale more. Around 25%. The long pass was something, but why not a carry? And why not 20 personnel?

One would imagine Moore has things for him when the time is right when the other team don't expect it. He seems to be solid as a power runner and the few times they've thrown the ball to him in the past year has great hands.

I noticed they were using him a LOT as a blocker on 3rd downs. They must really trust him back there.
