To prove he can create a winner, and pad his resumé for a HC job?
He can do that in Philly far better while not being weighed down by a moronic GM and mediocre overpaid QB

I wouldnt even go to Dallas for a HC gig but for a lateral OC move it would be crazy

That's my point. Winning in Philly, with the team he's got isn't nearly as impressive as if he were to come here and make something out of this mess.

I always find it amusing when "news" is given, but when no names are given as the source of the information, I take any of that news with a grain of salt.

This franchise is extremely dysfunctional

No discipline
No accountability

The GM is a complete out of control buffoon and the highest paid players are an above average QB, a WR, and a CB who cant tackle and always injured. We are about to pay 30 million to a LB who pretends to be a DE and vanishes in the playoffs
You cannot build a SB contender like this

Impressive or not better win there than lose here if he wants to be a HC

Jerry's going to pay the 8 million buyout and give him somewhere in that neighborhood per year on a 4 or 5 year contract? I just can't imagine it.
Jerry will make back that $8 million in no time selling "Coach Prime" gear in the gift shop.

We are talking Coach Prime t-shirts, hats, bobble heads, throw blankets, shot glasses, virtually everything you can think of that you can write "Coach Prime" on.

Jerry is getting a woody thinking about all the merch he is going to be selling with Deion:thumbup:

i'd be shocked if this isn't a done deal already.
Irvin was on ESPN with Keyshawn and they were both talking about this was such a great hire and how Prime is going to fit right in with Jerry, notice they were talking in the past tense and not as a hypothetical in the future.

And Irvin was downright giddy, but he kept saying that he "could not elaborate further", then reach over and punch Keyshawn on the arm and start laughing. Then I think it was Paul Pierce that said "if you want to keep something a secret, dam sure dont tell Irvin.

Like I said, it was just kinda a weird segment.

it was strange.
either irv was letting some truth slip...or he was hamming it up for tv.

It felt like it was a done deal. They talked about it being quiet. For two guys loud as ever that’s not like them

This thing can turn any direction Jerry is old and cranky and the team is directionless and not exciting. We’ll get a lot of headlines this off-season. You’ll see trade rumors. Therell be talks of trading up etc
