That is another issue. But not necessarily for this issue.Nah, because Jethro and Jr are buffoons

WR is always a possibility with our first or second pick but we do have bigger needs. We traded a 4th for Mingo thinking he could replace Cooks. If we draft a receiver high it just makes that trade look worse.Right now, I think a receiver is a must in either the first or the second. We have Lamb, but we have no No. 2 receiver. Free agency isn't over, though, so we still could get a Brandin Cooks-quality No. 2.
He had a visit set up with Washington this week so we may see him one way or another.Maybe the plan is to bring back Gallup since he's un-retiring.![]()

They could add one ...........I do not think they will consider a WRs outside the 1st round coz 4th round was spent on Mingo. In other words, I think either go all in at the position and draft an A-1 starter in the first or a late-rounder. Remember in Jerry's mind we have already used out 4th rounder on a WR.Right now, I think a receiver is a must in either the first or the second. We have Lamb, but we have no No. 2 receiver. I'm not sure right now that we do. Based on our FA signings, I'd count WR, CB and LB as our top needs at the moment.WR is always a possibility with our first or second pick but we do have bigger needs.
I agree. And that's also what I would like Kupp for, to be a possession receiver and an underneath security blanket that can get six yards on 3rd-and-5.Possibly.
But Cooks was to be the guy to stretch the field. Be the speed guy.
That did not work out.
All Kupp may be able to do is be a possesion guy. Which they do need that as well.
I like Kupp, wanted them to draft him. And am not opposed to them bringing him in. But is he that difference maker at this point. Maybe he can help.
You got it............lolLOL.
Here is what is happening. They want Kupp. But they refuse to go and get a player they like that might cost them more than their comfort zone.
So they wait and keep their fingers crossed that they get lucky, the guy sits out there for a week or two and then they swoop in with a low ball offer.
It's their MO and why we have zero NFCCG appearances in nearly 3 decades.
This is the problem.LOL.
