The house of cards will fall apart this off season. The defense bailed out the offense in numerous games over the past few seasons whether that be in stops or takeaways. Prescott will deflect at some point to get another contract and that will not go down well...

The Cowboys got whipped at every facet of the game yet some of you believe if Tony Romo or Troy Aikman was quarterback we would be Super Bowl bound.
Yup, the defense set the tone by letting them drive the ball straight down the field opening kick, and then the offense crumbled. Usually how it plays out

Well it’s not just us seeing. I’m glad players are talking about it so Jerry has a full picture. We really can’t resign this guy if the players are questioning him. I wonder if it was Lamb. It would make sense

Bs…dak had plenty of games he went through multiple reads. Lamb was targeted so much because he’s our best playmaker period. That’s something that should happen independent of whose the quarterback.you mention Throwing on the fly like it’s an easy skill trait
Dak locked on Lamb bc now we have a diva wr who demands the ball or starts with the bad body language and pouting on the sidelines. Daks pick 6 was a perfect example of forcing the ball CD. Problem is lamb was doubled all night and we didn’t adapt quickly enough. Gallup was open all night.

Sorry, it was a PI. I don't care what Dean Blandino had to say on it. You can't hold a wr through his break and then push him back to get leverage.

But have fun screaming 2 PICKS...OMG
If you are going to use that logic, then the Cowboys first touchdown shouldn't count either because Tyler Smith false started, and it wasn't called. Does that mean that Prescott only threw two touchdowns?

I can think of a lot of things to describe a franchise qb. Panics after first read is not one of them.

If that makes you feel better.

I watched numerous Eagles false start all year without getting called. I believe theylat he just timed it right.

Funny, he didn’t panic during the season. It’s not like he was passing to his first read. All season he was given credit for having complete control of the offense and reading defenses, moving guys around, and going through his progressions. I’m going to bet that wasn’t Ferguson, Lamb, or Cooks.

Of course you do. Because it suits your agenda.

Just like you are crying about interference on what was a poor throw by Prescott that got picked. Because it suits your agenda.

The entire team sucked yesterday - coaches and players included. The QB, the highest paid player on the team, was a complete no show in the competitive phase of the game. This does not excuse the defense or the rest of the team, but if Prescott wants to be paid like he is, he has to step up. Instead, he stepped aside.

It was actually a great throw.

If the defender didn't hold Cooks and then climb thru him, it was a completion.

Also not sold on the "first read" stuff. Can a guy that can't read defenses lead the NFL in TD passes by accident?

Dak sucked yesterday but so did the scheme. Green Bay took Lamb away and all McCarthy tried to do after that was force it to him. Somewhere the Packers coaches are watching this film and laughing their butts off right now.
I'm not sold on the 1st read stuff either.

Double Lamb, and who is supposed to be getting any separation? Who is stretching the field?

We *spent* a lot for Gallup, Cooks, and Tolbert. Didn't *get* a lot.

Here is the likely read progression for every play: Lamb, Ferguson, Uh Oh. You'd be getting antsy too if Lamb isn't open.

Mental midget.

I’ve seen all the quarterbacks but Eddie LaBaron.

Prescott is the worst big game quarterback of them all.

Get rid of him.

Anyway possible.
I saw LeBaron play that first season. No fear. Looked like Doug Flutie.

Olsen pointed this out several times . GB planned to take away the 1st read KNOWING , DAK can't read defenses for crap and would panic .

Great scouting , as this has held true his entire career
They planned on taking away Lamb, which is the *obvious* move against our WR corps.

Cooks, Gallup, Tolbert. Meh.

Careful unnamed player. You will be shipped out like Amari if ole man insists on running it back with #4.
Jon Machota. @jonmachota

The Cowboys had open locker room and a team meeting today. Jourdan Lewis, KaVontae Turpin and T.J. Bass spoke with reporters.

So I take it the 'unnamed' player is one of these three? My guess is Turpin. I may have to buy his jersey lol

The leading 2nd read statistic is bogus.

Your first read isn't the first WR's direction you look always. We have all heard QB's talk about looking directions they have no intentions of throwing. Those aren't reads.
